Perhaps instead of just dumping links I should specify what is in them. This is a series called the Laughing Salesman created by Fujiko Fujio, same duo that did Doraemon. It began life as a manga in the late 60s but was adapted into this anime in 1987.
It is a Twilight Zone/Tales From the Crypt type thing, where the Laughing Salesman tries to help people with their problems but they usually end up fucking it up either in a grounded but ironic way or by pissing off the Salesman by breaking a promise causing him to intervene with supernatural power.
As it is kind of a relic piece, even for its time, the art and style comes from a period of anime that is unfamiliar even to my weeb boomer ass, so it wouldn't shock me if you little shits (hur) didn't like it, but I am going to have to forcefully recommend.
First few episodes aren't very good, but it picks up around episode 6 or 7.
