the more i think about it, the more i wonder if the pedo-scare and spreading "csem for awareness" schlick is just a way to basically legally get out of jail free way to sending csem online
it's not that it's not harmful or not against the law
but when there's kids who are sharing some other kid's nudes or rape footage online, combined with lunatic karens, and other mentally unhinged individuals, aside from actual pedophiles, without the ability to simply kill them on the spot because laws/morals/etc because they're a kid/woman/unwell/etc, it basically means to deal with all of these people, it would take astronomical resources, because dealing with even a single one is already a massive pain in the ass

which likely is just a slap on the wrist at best
which honestly makes me wonder, has anyone done a wellness check on the victims after a while? did any of them be saved by what people call justice, or did they just give their abusers and predators a reason to do worse things to them?
