Tips for what is the best 1 watt device to use as a Reticulum RNode on the market at the moment. I haven't really gelled with the Heltec LoRa32 V4 kit very well so looking for alternatives. #LoRa #Reticulum #Technology

why does it say MEshChatX reaches end of life of Jan 1st 2027?

Can anyone help? Trying to find the web flasher online to flash my Heltec LoRa32 v4 Touch and turn it into a transport node and I can't seem to find the page any more. Could somebody drop the link please. #reticulum #LoRa #MeshRadio

Thanks for raising that. After testing it myself it turns out it only works with the Ratspeak application. Other applications can’t read it. My LXMF address is my profile to add the old fashioned way.

Okay folks. My public facing LXMF address has changed. I will update my profile shortly but if you can scan a QR code then hopefully this’ll do ya. I’m only usually around in the evening to reply to messages but if you leave a message in the hours stated on my profile I’ll try and reply. #reticulum #lxmf #publictesting

I’m just imagining someone dialling a 64 character LXMF address and they get the last character wrong and have to hang up and dial again lol.

Seen this rather sexi looking DIY Reticulum phone online but no plans for it. Anybody know anything about this? This would make an amazing home or office phone. #reticulum #LXST

Thanks for letting me know. It's very confusing. Lots of people using 867.5MHz. I've had 5 nodes locally using that. But then I see people using 868.0Mhz and even the Meshcore frequency. Reticulum LoRa seems to be a wild west of nodes on various frequencies.

2026-07-02 16:00:11 UTC

Just a quick one. What is the frequency for #Reticulum LoRa in Europe? I'm in the UK and have been using (as many others have) 867.5MHz but I've just seen some people chatting saying that isn't it? Some confirmation would be appreciated.

That looks pretty sick. I wonder what the meshcore folk think about it?

If there are any companies that provide T.38 support for Fax over VoIP in the UK please drop me some links below. #FoIP #VoIP #T38

A quick question for the #reticulum heads out there. When announcing myself on the network should I use an ID or announce myself as an anonymous peer? Just wondering if I’m doing it right using a public facing ID.

also here is the link to Ratspeak for Android/Graphene. I have to admit I haven't tried this yet so might give it a go... https://ratspeak.org/download.html#mobile

Yes. It's called Retichat but I haven't tested it yet. In the App Store.

This seems a bit blind. I can understand there are issues over github's ownership but doing this at such an early stage without larger adoption seems like a facepalm moment.

Pyxis software has exactly the same problem with voice. Very unstable on there. If you can get it working that would be amazing.

Does anybody know if there is a list of useful tools on one page for #Reticulum at all? Seeing loads of cool projects on here but it would be great if they were compiled in one place. Or maybe they already are but I'm looking in the wrong place lol.

Tried sorting my transport nodes out. Still having problems. In the mean time I flashed Ratspeak software to Cardputer ADV and it works flawlessly. I have Pyxis on the T-Deck. I tried reflashing Ratdeck to the T-Deck but still having problems. The only thing I can think of is if the preamble is set properly. Just doesn’t seem to be recievable. #ratspeak #pyxis #reticulum #rns #lora

sorry to hear that. Nice stack though. I bought a really nice 10db gain antenna last year that’s waiting for a free location and solar setup to get going.

#Liquidglass sucks donkey balls. Not a big fan of the new Apple UI. All we need is an option to switch it off. Can't imagine this is something that is still going to be here in Apple's UI ecosystem next year. I have trouble with my eyesight and for somebody with visual issues it's quite annoying not to be able to switch it off.

*slow clap* 👏👏👏 What a great way to waste our already overstretched resources. Have the Police run out of real terrorists to catch? I see some sitting in Parliament.

Looking to see if anybody on Masterdong is using Reticulum at all? I've been using Meshtastic but wondering whether to keep going with that and perhpas just go all in with Reticulum. I use LoRa but I also use portable analog and digital radio. Would be interested in learning how I can use digital radio (DMR) with Reticulum. #Reticulum #Meshtastic #LoRa #DMR
