I just stumbled upon this project and it looks great. I tested outgoing email and a return incoming mail and it worked.
Maybe some more docs on the ovh bridge (not decentralized) and links/instructions on how to run a separate bridge?

No information or repo on how to install a http router and/or gateway.. current 5chan board is single centrally hosted UI, if I run a second one the users only see the manually "github curated" server chosen by the devs.
Does the 5chan web ui contain all the p2p/pubsub etc code? Is it reimplemented with every web app that gets released?
Interesting project, wish them all the best. But would need to see some actual decentralization demonstrated before taking it more seriously.

Fix crony capitalism by reducing bureaucracy and monopoly encouraging laws, I think that will reduce the extremely large monopoly companies that create / generate extreme wealth for relatively few.
As to fixing the money, there's a little something called Bitcoin, you may have heard of it 😜
Some rich wont give a shit, that's human nature. But convincing successful people that rising discontent may see their heads on a pike should motivate plenty!
Also need to drastically reduce the size and authority of government, currently its too powerful and causing too much tension over who gets to lead it.

What's the status of the project? Is is usable, scalable, interoperable with existing meshes?

I installed it. I'll have access to another phone soon and can test it fully. Looks awesome though.
I just got my friends to install a Bluetooth chat app while on a longhaul flight. It worked great for chat, and I thought nostr would be perfect in that scenario.
One big problem I see is asking my friends to install 3 apps to make it work. That ain't gonna happen.

Put it this way, a peer 100m away with full signal would probably only get 75-85% of your messages, and there is no way to tell if they got it or not, and each resend of the same message appears separately. A node 5km away with a medium signal would only get 40% of messages. Missed messages can be OK if detecting and resending worked well as a backup.

Meshtastic definitely has the largest user base. Meshcore is growing fast but still small, and unknown if it has enough to steal meshtastics thunder. Reticulum very small, probably < 1000 nodes.
As for bridging, not sure. They each have a form of bridging over clearnet built in.
