Fellow #fedimusicians what's your take on this... I have more VSTi synth plugins amassed over the years than you can shake that proverbial stick at.
Current music creation is a solid synth thing (sequences galore!) and it's great fun. Now then, as I look for new sounds, I stumble through presets and occasionally find one that I think is just right.
The thing is there's a voice telling me to fiddle with it, make it my own, but... it's got a hint of guilt trip... I could just go with it as is!?

Look, I know Pachelbel's Canon in D has been to say the least 'overplayed' for half a century or more. Endless adverts etc etc. But its popularity is down to it being an unusually attractive and soothing composition. Played in true Baroque style with a small chamber orchestra it is elegant.
It doesn't need a fucking vocal slapped on top.

Spent a few hours getting cover art done. I want 'something' for individual tracks. Put a lot of effort into cover art for both albums (especially as they are both CDs as well as downloads) but never did anything for individual tracks.
I have two brilliant 'tame artists' (😁) on hand BUT one is my better half who has M.E. and is finishing a book of her artwork and the other... my oldest mate, a hugely talented artist but... I would like it done this year!

Pretty sure a few of my mutuals (get me! old bloke down with the lingo! 😁) are well versed in #degoogling so some comments gratefully received. Everyday I listen to original #music from the #fediverse with no ads, no corporate bs and 'no worries'.
All because a lovely crazy person invented #RadioFreeFedi and has poured their soul into keeping it alive and vibrant and FREE (in every sense).
I decided to help out a bit with keeping the lights on and the hard drives spinning (OK maybe SSDs now but... poetic licence).
'Help the Hamster' if you can, even just 5 New Zealand Dollars a month makes a big difference 👍
