Another #monerokon, another chance to see #monero frens in person. Thanks to Orangefren and the @npub1rjt…mp8a for everything, test the new app and https://image.nostr.build/969f388c7b96f7e791e71c62ebf6f428d7ea82598c12977a2a35a72702cae5fd.jpgplease keep the feedback coming!

Good morning everyone who survived last night! Live from Warsaw in sunny Poland for our second day of #monerokon and @npub1rjt…mp8a https://image.nostr.build/b0d1b4a23951d0423fe8552877ca60cbaadb9ddc0093993c5d319c9e9734b967.jpg

Have you noticed that if you enable merchant mode on a Moneroju wallet the receive screen looks upside down to face your client?

That way they can easily see:
- Price in fiat
- XMR equivalent
- Description
Less fumbling, less errors. UX for real-life P2P!

Just FYI there's no Monerujo desktop wallet and we have nothing to do with the one someone pointed us to.
Open source doesn't mean you can impersonate our sexy logo, name, or track record of trusty broken overengineering.

You saw here first, payment received notification so merchants don't need to leave the receive screen to know they're been paid!

Time's up! 🍅
Monerujo2 preview test experimental @npub1j0y…0hd9 edition is available at soon.monerujo.app

⚠️ Tips:
App will be called Moneroju just to tell them apart and it will NOT replace your current installed Monerujo. This is gonna be our playground until we match current Monerujo feature set.
You can use it in either mainnet (normal XMR) or stagenet (fake testing XMR)
Have fun poking around everywhere, should be so smooth and pleasant it qualifies as a fidget toy.
Find bugs and create issues at https://github.com/m2049r/moneroju-issues/issues
You can restore an old wallet or create a new one, we now support polyseed.
Hug a loved one today if you haven't.
Remember to switch PocketChange™ on for extra pleasure during the conference. No lock time between spends!
Set up your fiat currency to MXN to see prices in local currency.
If you leave a wallet unlocked, it should sync in the background

Maybe it was because we wanted to buy beer with monero at #MoneroKon, but we just released a new version with a fix for the QR code with price bug: https://github.com/m2049r/xmrwallet/releases/tag/v4.1.7

New patch release v4.1.6 fixing several minor issues including Exolix exchange is out. We're back on track!

That's right. Monerujo isn't Exolix. We don't see inside their black box. If you notice something wrong, please report with evidence so we can take a look.
It's great that there's @nprofile…4qhy so you have a choice. Same thing happens the other way around. There's also Stack just in case you get put off by the two of us. Mysu and Anonero too.
Weird that you think we're obligated to anything, specially since you see clearly how you're not obligated to use Monerujo. Freedom goes both ways.

They're a company and they have to comply with the law to be able to operate.
Do keep us posted if you find any actual case of a Monerujo user with blocked funds.

2024-12-06 13:29:48 UTC

- reply

Do you have specific information on Exolix capturing funds from s user? If that's the case we would request a statement from them.
And if it happens to a Monerujo user we want to be the first to know of course.

We made a quick fix release v4.0.8 🧑‍🏭
- Fix crashes on Android 14/15
- Fix connectivity issues with Ledger
Thanks to those who sent us detailed bug reports, the tradeoff of not spying on users is that it's more difficult to troubleshoot, please keep 'em coming!
