Ugh..... Fuck meeeeeeee.... Minutes later I realized I need to rapidly send an email to Commissioner Allen, who's been presiding over my small claims court case against Meta... Which in my head had its decision hearing date on Monday... To only realize NOOOOO it is in 1.5 hours from now. OMG. WTF?!? 😱 Shit... shower. Deal with VPN blocking wifi on my laptop.... And eventually, shakingly, arrive into the Zoom courtroom.
Well now after 1.5 hrs in the court room, we have another extension giving Meta yet another 2 months to restore my account access, and Commissioner Allen will be looking into what the law says about reputational harm when you've notified a platform that harmful content is sitting on an account you can't control or remove yourself, and they don't take it down for like 2+ years.
I am praying to Jesus Commissioner Allen has good news for me on Oct. 26th. Please send some good vibes and prayers my way too for a positive outcome!!!

A couple of months ago a friend was quite unsettled to find out that his 11 year old boy had been introduced to porn by his elder cousins on their summer trip. It was another mom who called him to share this has been revealed on the camping trip she had taken him with her boys.
Another friend of mine shared today about his 13 year old daughter who was posting on a secret tik tok account about her struggles with finding a reason to be alive after November. She's been struggling with her weight, dealing with body dysmorphia and self esteem issues. How do you deal with that?!
Sending blessings and prayers to the parents with adolescent kiddos and teens out there. To say it's been hard to make sense of the world the last few years is an understatement. Having to make sense of the world while raising children in this climate is a whole other animal of an initiation.

I haven't had access to wifi for a little while circumstantially and solely relying on my data plan and my reception is super low 1-2 bars most often. Trying to upgrade to multi network with hopes for an extra bar or two.
I have no problem browsing through X and even watching YouTube video. But my experience on Nostr is completely terrible.

True story...
The day or two before 7/30, I was feeling this nagging anxiety to check whether my tiny stack was still there... (the oracle within activating, I guess). I hadn't checked in a while, and I found myself mentally bracing—imagining staying calm, grounded, and collected in total acceptance if I were to discover it was all gone.
"Fuck it. It is what it is. Just breathe. Life continues. It's not the first time. You're already at zero anyway."
I'd started to #studybitcoin, and it was overwhelming. I was taking it one giant elephant bite at a time.
I'd taken the step to move off exchanges and was researching hardware wallets...
...then life became hell. I entered the worst year of my life, and I've just been doing my best to recover from the shell shock. Still am.
...I never got to the hardware wallet part. I did buy a device—not a Coldcard—but I ultimately chickened out because of the concerns people were raising about it. I even hung out with a cryptographer who had worked on that team and shared my reasoning for not moving to it. He seemed to nod in agreement. I also didn't buy a Coldcard, despite how heavily it was marketed, because of the concerns some folks were expressing.
That was all part of my DYOR.
Now I'm kind of in freeze mode. I really don't know what to do, but I feel like I should do something. I'm just not sure what. Kind of immobilized.

Ok thanks for sharing all that. Will definitely take into consideration. This whole thing is overwhelming but hopefully I could make a decision here soon. The challenge is that I actually don't really have wifi atm and working with hotspot on my phone so my hands are kind of tied to take any serious action as far as os upgrades. And now Think pad over Omarchybis entering the chat too... Haven't dug too deep... But definitely just looking to eliminate having tech issues and instead be focused on smoothly building darn it.

Ah, man. I am completely stuck. 😩 Created account on browser on my lap top. Scanned qr code on the auditor app from my phone but then it gives an qr code to be scanned by the "other device" (the auditor) and I don't know how to scan qr code with my laptop or see that option on the account I just opened. I did configure an email. So maybe I will get an email after a while? I don't see how to link the too. And I dont have two android 13+ devices to use or two devices to scan qr codes from.

So I did some research and it looks like MacBook air is one of the friendliest apples to install this one to apparently my MacBook pro get is one of the worst and loses a ton of capabilities.

I think I'm going to pretend I lost my tiny Bitcoin stack in the Coldcard crash, buy a MacBook Pro M5, and stop torturing myself.
I'm going to trust that it will produce so much more in return that it would be foolish to keep it locked away as "generational wealth" while living in total scarcity in the present.
I've been entirely restricted, needing to jump through a gazillion hoops just to experiment, build and meaningfully participate in what's unfolding. More than that, it's been stifling my creative potential.
I am way too excited to dive into Buzz and completely shift my building paradigm. I feel like it's about to unlock a whole new wave of creative impulses.

No, I absolutely love your long rant. Super helpful. Keep going. :) I actually just started getting the "Google drive won't be supported on this OS" messages so I am and have been exactly where you are saying. My MacBook pro has been functioning just fine which I contribute to the fact I barely even opened it for years but now that all this AI is out I realize it's a massive constraint for me. I had no idea or at all considered the path of instaling Linux. But worth going down the rabbit hole at least a little. But using the terminal instead of the desktop app I am not sure it's my cup of tea. Do I understand the desktop apps are just fine and operational in your Linux set up and or are you saying you can only use the terminal?
And yeah, in my attempt to install Buzz and failing due to WebKit version or something Claude code research upgrade paths and brought up this patches route OCLP - OpenCore Legacy Patcher. I've been digging deep into which is the OS I need and which one can safely be installed and what may get lost or successfully patched along the way.

Do you mean Claude code's annual sub? I attempted downloading codex but appears I need to first upgrade my OS which is a whole task on itself via OCLP since it's no longer supported with Apple so that the desktop app can potentially work for me. I think I tried it on browser but it just kept thinking and I gave up. Good to get this feedback and definitely want to give it a go.
Curious... it appears Claude chat is disconnected and context and history don't carry over to Claude code. When you say you have reached mutual understanding does that mean that your history with chatgpt is taken into account in Codex?

Hi guys, if you have been working with agents for a while what are some wise words or resources you'd share with someone who is just getting started.
I've been only recently starting to do things with Claude Code. I know I am kind of late but I have continuously hit blocks with my old MacBook pro. I finally was able to download the Claude desktop app and already seeing patterns and things I need to be aware based on my experience so far working with it a few different directions.
Any guidance and word of advice from the experienced hackers out there super appreciated.
I also want to experience the frontier models so I can have a comparison when soon I am also going to hopefully be able to start playing with Buzz too.
I have finally been able to download Goose as well but found myself leaning toward my experience with Claude Code first.

Digging out a conversation, brainstorm session about my path with AI in Jan 2025 when I was in El Salvador for a month at Bitcoin beach.
