I still have some files from 2 years ago when I was testing it. Sadly no notes. I am prety sure it was as easy as piping one thing into another. XML from the feed to markdown converted with pandoc, into latex with a selected template.

I had a similar fantasy. Only a normal printer for RSS articles. The printer would sit in a public place, and it would spit out cool stuff for people to read. There are LaTeX templates that can make it look like news paper. It would be easy to automate.

Poverty always comes first, because that is the default state of a human.
The question is what you do about it. You could postpone consumption. Create capital goods which will later be useful - that will get you out of poverty. Or you can take apart existing capital goods, and consume the loot. And once you consume it, you end up where you started, or worse. Like someone who burns his funiture to warm up. Then blames on someone else that he has nothing to sit on.
I refrain from looting because it goes against my nature, not because it is easier. I come from people who prefer building. It is out nature.

To what degree new tech wil take away jobs depends on the elasticity of demand for the goods/services in question.
If the demand is inelastic, then lots of people will be fired. Smaller number of people will be employed in that sector producing same amount as before.
If the demand is elastic, then increase in productivity and subsequent drop in prices will lead to massive increase in quantity of the product being bought and sold. Same number of people will be employed producing more stuff.
Examples from the top of my head:
1) Industrialization of agriculture leads to agriculture workers being fired. People demand roughly same quantity of food, so less workers is enough. Demand is inelastic. At most people eat 2x more calories if food is cheaper as a result of tech.
2) Scaling up of computer chip manufacturing leads to lower price and people want more and more and more etc. Instead of couple computers in a firm where it is really needed, you get 5 computers per person. Consumption rises by mamy orders of magnitude.

My observations when vibecoding as an amateur/beginner:
- I am starting with tiny projects
- barier to entry has been lowered massively
- i keep getting impressed
- the robots are way ahead of me. Even taking precautionary steps on their own initiative. Trying to follow "good practice".
- I have a tendency to micromanage it. I want to understand the code.
- It is good at expaining why it did what it did, when I ask. I ask the way I would ask a teacher.
- I think it suits me well, as I think of myself as a "man of ideas" rather than a "man of craft".
- Before I knew I would dislike being a coder. Now I can skip a large part of the profession which requires hyper-specialization.
- I think I am good at prompting it. It is about exactly expressing intentions in words.
- vast majority of effort and time goes into tweaking and polishing the results
- my favorite prompt thus far is "split the code into more functions, such that it is more readable by a human"

Whichever method is recomended by the app maker. Prefered is package manager. Flatpak is acceptable. Sometimes things need to be hacked into the system manually.
Recently needed an older version of a gui app that wasn't available anymore through the distro repos. So I installed it in distrobox in an older version of the distro. Pain in the ass. Then I realized I can copy the package over and install directly without distrobox. That integrates much better with the desktop environmet! Feels nice.
Things can get cumbersome, but everytime I have to solve a problem I learn something, which is a good feeling.

Coming back to the topic of Austrian Business Cycle Theory (ABCT). This fits into the picture well. IMO this could be signs that we are getting closer to an economics recession. It will be revealed that some mega investments were actually giant resource misalocations. The cause is money printing during covid. Remember the artificially small interest rates an super hot housing market? This may all be so obvious in hindsight.

I was wrong and I underestimated the technology. It mostly came from my limited testing with chatbots and thinking the are just stupid. They used to claim oposite of what is true quite frequently. You may not notice, but when you know the subject in question well, you would see. Then I saw some stupid people using it badly. For example, as if it is an oracle for truth. People using "chatgpt says so!" as an argument from authority still deserve to be smacked is the face with a wet fish.
The mistake was to think it will not impove much. Yet the models got massive improvements since then. Then smart people learned how to work around the limitations that still exist, and they found tasks at which the tech is mega useful.
Now I predict there will be robot wars. A ship landing with thousands of drones coming out, able to ocupy an etire city with 15 minutes. Ping me in 10 years to tell me I was wrong, again.

Austrian theory of business cycles (ABCT) predicts that when interest rates are artificially low, which in our system leads to inflation of money supply, then investors will disproportionately favor investments in longer term projects. Interrest rate in the investors calculation is too low causing an ilusion of long term profitability.
Because investments are not funded from savings of other people through free market in loans, but rather by banks issuing new units of currency, the investments are not acompanied with apropriate witholding of consumption. This leads to misalocation of resources, because it apears as if we can afford more that we actually can. All this is caused by one distorted market signal. Rates are fixed, when on a free market with hard money, rates would be changing depending on supply and demand.
This may be happening now with the monstrous investments into AI datacenters. Google took 100 year loan. WTF?
This is not to say that this new tech is useless. Only that investors are misguided by market signals which are manipulated. Result is that they perhaps invested more than would be reasonable. Once the mistake gets revealed, they will be awakened from their drunken investment spree by a harsh reality.
