I'm back from Panama for several days now, but every day I think of that magic moment: getting to the finish first, after crossing from the Caribbean to the Pacific ocean, through the muddy hills and the jungle at night, for 100 miles.

Enjoy some pics from a fun 71 km run!
This was a few days ago, already after the #RunningBitcoinChallenge, after I had one day of rest 🥰

Final day of the Challenge! (Day 22, Saturday)
I was a bit confused about the last day, I thought it's supposed to be 21 days. For me, it's 22 days (from 10th to 31st), and as many runs!
On the last day I drew a pattern in the streets :) 11km
I'm super happy to complete my upgraded challenge: a real run every day 😎
I've logged 325 km in total -- over 15x21, with 8145 m elevation -- that's over 8 km vertical 🏃‍♀️‍➡️
Tomorrow a rest day! ❤️
But I have plans :) 70km on Monday, and a sea-to-sea run in a month! 🚀

Running Bitcoin Challenge Day 17:
There are joy runs and, well, hell runs. This was one of those: compacted half-melted half-frozen snow and slush, wet and slippery. I bailed out a few km before the end, but I should've done that much earlier. I had runs in all kinds of winter conditions, but this was on of the worst. Anyways, I've earned 19 km's, hard earned. Hardships build you!

2026-01-19 07:45:03 UTC

On Saturday I've completed a 62km run event, in the mountains, over frozen snow, off the beaten path.
WHY??? many of you ask me
60+km is a challenge in itself. Add mountain terrain (2700m elevation gain), barely marked trails, and the winter conditions: frozen hard-shell snow and cold. This mix of difficulties get's me going, to see how I cope. It's hard, but after a few hours the mind is cleared off, ego is replaced by acceptance. The sights of the forest, the views, the glitter of the sun on the snow, the beauty of wild game (deer, mouflon), the comaradry reward you with deep emotions.
I planned this event in advance, but the Running Bitcoin challenge gave me the extra crazy idea to run every day during the challenge period, which means there are no recovery days!
Running Bitcoin Challenge Day 8:
My stats are: 8 days, 8 runs, 164km, 4700m elev. A few more to go!
