the temptation is real there.
it's very easy for me to just recede so much that I only interact with people who reach out first/respond, or to get to the point where I think that because they don't reach out they don't care about our friendship and I'm not a priority or whatever.
and then I remind myself that they're probably over there saying the same thing about me. it's all about perspective, and most of the time turns out they weren't annoyed at me at all, but something got in the way and it drifted off the front page of whatever messages app, or they thought I didn't have time for them because I'm very busy (which I am, but I always have time for my friends, usually most for those who reach out to me first but see point this entire discussion).
as you said, lather, rinse, repeat, but eventually you're running the cycle on empty, I find, at which point I force myself to do the unnatural and be the one to reach out first.

FABRIC SCISSORS ARE ONLY! ONLY! ONLY! FOR FABRIC.
do not ever use them to cut something that isn't fabric or string.
(rope, even cotton rope, or rope trim or whatever, does not count as string. I'd avoid using main fabric scissors for heavy upholstery fabric, that needs its own stronger pair of fabric scissors.)
if my mother caught me using the ginghers for anything other than fabric I think I would still—at 34 years old and bigger and stronger than my aging mother—get a thrashing, or at least the verbal beat-down that would make me wish it was just a thrashing.

where the fuck is #FediHire #GetFediHired for those of us who don't have the skillsets for 50k+/year salaries? those of us who are trying to struggle our way up and out of minimum wage jobs. those of us who are available for gig work, writing, edting, whatever, but don't currently have a formal affiliation?
because until then it's just another classist tool in the classist toolchest.
as for myself, I am a decent copywriter, copy editor, proofreader, often-times fact checker. I'm capable at data entry, file cataloguing, the tedious stuff that no one wants to do that keeps things from breaking down further on down the line.
I won't write things for people that violates academic integrity, but pretty much anything short of that is fair game. I can tutor in English, English literature, creative writing, Jewish studies and religious studies and pretty much the rest of the humanities as well.
but right now I just need something. I need a couple hours a week so I can pull in a hundred or two hundred per week so we don't fucking drown. where's that?

people with disabilities have good days too. days where my spine doesn't hurt and I can walk upright didn't somehow mean I need my crutches or my wheelchair less the rest of the time.
it looks like you're on a way to maybe confronting the internalised #Ableism and the world's #EverydayAbleism.
consider also that you deserve to have accommodations in your life for your pain and that the unfortunate first step of those is letting go of a little bit of pride and ego.

I think the stigma associated with the word is deeply rooted in ableism and #EverydayAbleism.
there are plenty of people living with the personality disorder who aren't absolutely unhinged or axe-murderers et cetera.
find better vocabulary and for fuck's sake don't make it into a fucking hashtag.
