I would say using cashu or especially fediment on its own moves away from bitcoin philosophy, but used along non custodial lightning and col wallets make a great stack?

Genuinely curious. Why monero? I for maximum privacy and sovereignty I use on-chain, lightning, fediment and sometimes cashu. Can't you achieve all you want with btc?

I have actually read a lot of your guides. On my device zeus just doesn't work reliably. Where I live I have limited internet access and my device is very old. It seems just to struggle handling zeus, with payments timing out more often than not. That's why I switched to Phoenix and Fedi for the mix between self custodial spending and lightweight private without internet. We have a federation here in south africa. But none of these offer a NWC option. That is why the only thing that has reliably worked is the spark wallet that has worked reliably.

Zeus doesn't work. Have litterly tried it so many times because I really want it to, but it is mostly a mis. I can receive or send zaps most of the time, and at this moment have funds stuck there on cashu. Waiting for the update to hopefully get funds off
The spark wallets in wisp and primal are just there and they work

How do I get to try v0.13 on android?
Have always had issues with zeus on my phone, maybe because it's network intensive as well as a bit more cpu intensive. Hoping the lighter node will run on my phone a bit easier

Blink, blitz and a few has the moneybadger tech built in, but having the stand alone app makes so that you can use any Wallet. Have seen you use phoenix in videos.
Best is to check out their map on their website for accurate locations. https://www.moneybadger.co.za/stores . They have their own pseudo btcmap with locations that support lightning

Have you downloaded @nprofile…tx66 yet? You can use it as a scanning app, linking any lightning wallet to, then pay with sats at any place using scan to pay or zapper. Most notable places are PnP stores as well as any Engen and Shell petrol station. A LOT of restaurants also available. Just always ask for scan to pay, chances are you can pay with btc if they have a qr code

@nprofile…n2f3 just tried the app out for my first run. I just basically started run to see what happens, but to verify also ran with strava, both on phone. Data is way off on runstr, ran a 5k. Time is correct. Is there any recomendation to fix this? Love tha app and would use it exclusively if it can track distance and pace

Best Wallet for everything but stacking (aka spedning) here in South Africa is @nprofile…uxkg. Self custody, all liquidity and chanel management happens under hoord. Non kyc, multiple accounts enabled, lightning, liquid and on chain enabled, customizable lightning adress and an option to gift someone sats which takes them through a process of downloading and on-boarding them to the app. All the convenience of something like WoS but significantly better.

Currently doing final tests on my final year project as an engineering studen. Building a High Voltage Wide-Band Voltage divider for high voltage measurement applications on HV side of transformers. This measures the harmonics and other frequency components in the grid due to poor signal quality.

Nice! I have been using Minibits Wallet as my daily wallet for 2 months now in south africa. Love what @nprofile…rzrk said earlier today about it bringing solutions to privacy and centralisation issues, it feels like a WAY better option for custodial spending wallets.
I also use keychat and love the integration of cashu there.
