The Hearty Soul is one of those enshittyfied websites, that makes you go through 1010 vendors instead of an option to reject all. Makes me think their survey will be just as shitty. But I'll never know.

Thank you for sharing these. I loved our trip to Angkor. My personal highlight was the Bayon Temple. Journeyed there for sunrise. Beautiful and moving time. You’ve moved me to get some pictures out. Thanks again.

Why, oh why, isn't robbing 100,000,000,000 times as much money as the average person earns a crime? We need to bring back the guillotine for sick, thieving basterds like Musk.

I don't need to. I followed his comedy career closely but not his musical career. Except I saw some stuff he did with Neil Innes.
He did one of my top five funniest comedy sketches - the Bert Weedon one "And now with the book."

No 3: My encounters with animals
Driving back from a brilliant leopard sighting we were speeding to beat the dusk curfew, when I asked our guide Lorenzo what was crossing the road.
IT'S A PANGOLIN! he bellowed. A PANGOLIN.
It was the first he had seen (eight years in Tanzania) and he was so excited. He was on the radio to his mates who all came to see this little fellow. I just managed to get a headshot before he rolled into his defensive ball.

No 2: My encounters with animals
Our flight from Dar es Salaam to Selous had just landed and we were seated at a table beside the makeshift runway enjoying a welcome drink when a herd of dogs came from the trees and kept coming. We counted over 40. Our guide was excited by such a large group moving across their area. They mooched around as we watched and then drifted off as the sun set.

No 1: My encounters with animals
(ALT) A small herd of elephants in the mid ground of the photo is crossing an area of grassland near Twyfelfontein in Namibia. The background is a low range of mountains dappled brown in the evening sunlight. The foreground is a strip of thicker grass with the occasional bush.
We waited three hours in the evening to see these rare Desert Elephants. The total population is under 200 and they roam over 20,000 sqKm. It was a spiritual experience.

What Mozilla is doing is “sugging.” It’s the term used for sales messages dressed up as research and is outlawed in proper research. It is about as dishonest as you can get in your sales message.

Sidebar: Back in the day, before privatisation, the British Railways advertising account was up for pitch. One agency left their potential clients (including the BR chairman) in reception for thirty minutes and gave them cold coffee, spilt on the tray.
As they got up to leave, Peter Marsh came out and said:“Gentlemen! you’ve just seen what the public think of the way British Rail treat them, now, let’s see what we at ABM can do to put that right! Please follow me!”.
They got it.

Tom, this is shredding my emotions too. My TV news is clogged full of cries of horror and eulogising the victims, criticism that more isn’t done to protect the Jewish population, with no context, no sense of the irony. Not even a hint that it isn’t only the Jewish population being targeted in the UK. I am finding it increasingly hard to feel sympathy after the Zionist propagandists have stretched the definition of antisemitism to a ridiculous level.

This issue can sometimes concerns me. Feeling I’ve got no traction with people. And I realised that this isn’t a small group meeting together. There’s a crowd. And a lot of the time they’re not attentive, just glancing at what I write. And a lot of the time there’s not enough in what I write to get any engagement - pissing off people excepted.
From my experience, I am not often moved to engage with you very often, but no less so than the majority I fear. You often make me smile, tho

I'm having trouble with the Zionist lobby's latest pursuit of Gary Lineker.
Clearly, the original video is virulently anti-semitic. The use of a rat symbol is intentional. Lineker's defence has been discounted: that he wasn't aware of the link between rats and Jews.
Nor was I. But I might have worried about it, had I seen that it was a rat and not a mouse. But I might also have thought that rat was a pretty generic insult, not specifically anti-Jewish.
But Lineker is being savaged.

It has always been thus. Always projecting its own failings on other to make them look bad. I go way back to seeing the US as the bad guys in the Cold War. Surprised that they didn't get called out with Vietnam. Always a picture of selfish greedy country with an over-inflated opinion of itself. You cannot imagine how happy I am to see them now exposed for the black-hats. The world will get on without them.

Special mention for those trans lovelies who are fearful for their safety, and for other genderdiversives. To those of you who suffer constant pain in their lives. And to those of you who don’t feel good enough. And for everybody struggling to fit into the normal world, whatever that might be today.
I am really glad you are all here.

I used to know a guy in AA in Houston who was a wonderful story teller. One of my favourites: When I woke up this morning it was 10 below. I went out and the car wouldn't start. Battery completely dead. So I went back inside, knelt by the fire and I prayed. When I went back outside half an hour later and tried the car what do you think happened?
No, it didn't start. Prayer doesn't work on cars. It works on me.
Prompted by @xinicit celebrating 15 years sober in Houston.
