@nprofile…keum graduated 20 kids in Winteko Village, Burundi, with @nprofile…2hav diploma !
Taught both in Kirundi and French , this program is helping rural youth understand sound money, privacy, and how #Bitcoin can be used in their daily lives.

During the meetup, other participants discovered that #Bitcoin is not an abstract idea here… it’s a daily reality.

It was a pleasure to introduce local merchants to the POS machines from Bitcoinize. They appreciated the tools, as they not only bring more prestige within the local community, but also allow them to get paid quickly and elegantly, while generating invoices for their expenses. Matangi – Bitcoin Babies Changing Lives

When I arrived in Matangi, Kiambu County, I was greeted by the warm smiles of Eve and some mums.
The mums are part of the
@nprofile…kuc0 program, earning weekly sats as Proof of Work for participating in education and healthcare initiatives.
I visited Miale Medical Centre, where they use BTC to pay for care, and walked through the village to see local shops where sats are spent like cash.
I met @nprofile…vhx6 , a hairdresser who accepts Bitcoin and advocates for it to other women. Many told me they’d rather hold BTC than Kenyan shillings.
Being there, I could see how #Bitcoin is not just money it’s dignity, opportunity, and security.
