#WordWeavers Do illicit drugs or alcohol feature in your story?
Oddly, not that much, now I think about it. I have a couple of shorts in Human Nature that feature alcohol, and drug taking / drinking is referred to a lot in the Volodya stories, but it's not like a major part of anything.

#ScribesAndMakers Do you use different accounts for different creative purposes?
I have a separate FB page for my writer persona, though I don't really bother much with it. My fan fiction is separate to my original fiction and is written under SpaceWeavil (if it's WAY back in the day on Open Scrolls Archive) or QuokkaMocha on AO3 if it's more recent, but I don't really segregate everything that much tbh.

#ScribesAndMakers Promotion
All my books are available here: https://books2read.com/ap/xXzJvy/Jessica-M-Taylor
Book 3 of the DRV Xanadu series is coming very soon, but there's still time to catch up on the first two before that. Just sayin'...

#ScribesAndMakers How pedantic are you?
In my head, very. But I know what it's like to be on the receiving end, so I resist any urges unless it's actually necessary to correct what's been said, e.g. if someone says "No, it is perfectly fine to eat that mushroom with the bright red top and white spots over there. Watch me lick it." In that instance, I might point out the correct answer.

#ScribesAndMakers What "character" would make a great main character?
Ř. The loner, hangs out in the Czech Republic scaring the hell out of tourists and language students.

2. I am getting better at resin casting
3. I'm also getting better with Blender
4. I'm also slightly better at watercolours
5. I really want to learn to make clay figures
6. The third Xanadu book is nearly done
7. I'm about to start researching a new book (Triglav 2)

#ScribesAndMakers Did you know what you wanted to be at age 11?
I actually did want to be a writer and it was around that age that set in. I figured I'd need another career to pay the bills, but writing was the only thing I really wanted to do. So the universe being perverse as always deemed that I would utterly suck at writing.

Just finished "Resurrection" by [@Owen_G_Richards](https://writing.exchange/@Owen_G_Richards ) and really enjoyed it. Come payday I'll definitely be getting some more from the series. I actually read a theory once that thought music was our first language, that early people called to one another with tones and rhythm similar to the way birdsong worked, and that it only developed into words later. I kind of like that idea, that harmony and vibrations and music are basically the core of the universe.

Got started today on the first raised bed in the back garden for growing veg. The courier had lost my plants I'd ordered but the company sent replacements and I have other seeds arriving tomorrow.
All my beds of seeds I planted in the front garden have loads of seedlings sprouting in now too. Hopefully they will make it to flowerhood.
All makes for a good Earth Day.

Trying to take a photo of my custom action figure of one of my characters, which turned out pretty well and is going to make an appearance on book 2's cover eventually, then noticed the shadow of the enormous space monster that must have been lurking behind me at the time...

#WordWeavers What's the best thing about the world of your story?
Even if no-one else likes it, it's where I can escape to on days like to day when the universe decides it's time to pile more crap on me.

Just released a trailer for the book I'm most proud of so far - https://youtu.be/p1thSRiHTFQ

I'm actually most proud, though, of the WIP I have atm. I can't wait to share that with the world!

I don't think so. At the moment, the print version is only on Amazon but for the eBook, I think the figures are exactly the same.

Strangely enough, a lot of the films I tried to find that were now really rare, I could only get from the Netherlands! So I have a lot of movies in Dutch packaging here, usually things no-one else has ever heard of but which have one of my favourite actors in.

I'm the same. I've got the e-book and I'll get the hardback once A, it's available and B, I know I can afford it (depends how close it is to the end of the month).
