How do I know that this random site of that musician that I just discovered, is not a scam and will not rob my money if I enter my credit card. That’s the hardest part of online retail. And if we have a handful of co op companies who can be the trustees in the middle, this will help.

Somehow it is not bigger news: the CDU here in Berlin has cut the funding of soo many NGOs, and the organizations that got funding had deep ties to the CDU. They got caught for that. And now the only consequence is: they fired one of the few people inside the gov who actively warned against this and tried to prevent it. Thanks, CDU.

If someone treats you like shit, why do you invite that person back? And that is aside of the alt right ideologies he showed again and again. Which will make the conference unvisitable for a lot of folks.

You know why we Germans are so pedantic about data protection? Someone around 90 years ago went through all records available, selected people with certain criteria, with the help of IBM, and then killed them all.
We don't want to be on any list.
And now the US Gov and Musk are trying to get access to all data they have about every person and put them into a big fat DB and run AI over it.
I am afraid what they will do with that.

@npub1p9k…865w it would show that apple takes games serious. Adding a “wanna buy a controller" in the checkout process might be nice. And would create a common input method games could optimise for. I know apple has tons to do, but this would be really nice.
