I'm already seeing a shift personally. I do Wordpress design using the Divi platform, and some of the AI additions they've made are nuts. Complete site building with all the basics, coded and sized correctly, ready for customization. My neighbor and I share the Divi license, and seeing some of the sites he's been making using the Divi AI are crazy.
BUT! Not everyone can build out a Masterclass style site just using AI enhancements and features alone. It takes someone skilled in UI/UX design, and even graphic design, to pull off something truly impressive.
The people who survive this AI incursion will be those who bend it to their will and MAKE themselves masters. That cuts out about 90% of people out their doing it currently. I'm trying to make sure I stay in that 10% remaining category.

Yeah what most people fail to understand is all these "creative professions" have one thing in common that separates the truly great & successful from the mediocre faggots-with-a-laptop:
Innate talent.
Some people genuinely have it, and it shows in their work. Doesn't matter how skilled at keyboard shortcuts and software you are, if you don't have talent you will never win. I *think* I have innate artistic talent, and I'm working my ass off to make myself successful for my family, but I'll tell you this....as much as I may look down on myself and as much as I still have to learn about all these creative hats I wear.....I am STILL 100% better than 99% of morons out there with a Macbook in their bedroom.
I had a meeting with a client who didn't want a landing page from me for his podcast bc "his nephew could do it". After pressing, said nephew is 15 and "knows Wix". Never built a page for a podcast, never coded a custom playlist, doesn't know proper layout for high conversion rates, but he would do it for 50 bucks. I sold the client using my expertise I had gained after a decade of success and failure.

Yeah it did haha. I hung out at the radio station all the time (my school was attached to the church where my dad's radio station was), so I got to see that stuff regularly.
When I got older and did a short apprenticeship under a producer in town, he was surprised I knew how to record to DAT, etc. Nowadays I use Adobe Audition, and it's so easy with digital files comparatively. I miss the analog days (not reels tho...like you said...slicing and taping...ugh....).

My dad is in broadcast radio (it's where I learned my skills), and he had a rack mounted DAT machine he used for audio production back in the day. I learned on old machines like that. I even remember watching him produce radio spots using reel-to-reel as a kid. I was too young to use the razor, but he'd grab an extra stool and show me the basic process when I was 7.
Good times.
