Why don't the nostr clients have sophisticated notification system that pushes the content to you directly when even the client is closed? Like you can subscribe to the accounts, hashtags or even "algorithms" and you'll see them on your phone notifications and you probably click them. All social apps have this and it obviously works.

If you retweet an interesting post it also increases your value because you introduced new (interesting) people to your network. And I agree, the person needs to engage with well known people for this to work in the first place. It requires work on both sides and it's not automatic, but it's decentralized and healthy.

I'd say we as a culture need to use repost more often. "The algorithm" is: this person is new or haven't got reach, so I would do a repost and if enough people does the same... This won't create viral posts but will provide a gentle push

Use cases can be different. For manent you have one nostr identity and many devices. You automatically can sync notes and files between devices. Think about pasting a text to yourself from web WhatsApp and copying it from your mobile WhatsApp.
My use case is I have several chat bot instances in my local machine (could be a several different servers too). I have a personal assistant bot and create notes using the chat. Then I wanted to share those notes with another chat bot I have. It's not actually between different clients (I'm using same 0xchat client to talk with many nostr bot identities)

Just shipped file sync between two bot instances in nostr-dm-agent 🤖
You can now send files between bots.
On Bot A:
`!file upload <file> <npub_of_bot_b>`
copy the naddr and go to Bot B chat:
`!file download <naddr>`
The bot encrypts the file and uploads it to Blossom. Publishes a pointer to the blossom file on a nostr note. You can update the same file again and again, naddr won't change.
While built for bots, the underlying approach could work for any Nostr client that wants encrypted file sharing over Blossom.

I'm vibe coding something complex. Still couldn't finish it all but I came with a very good recipe for vibe/hybrid coding that worked for me:
Give your requirements clear and detailed before starting. Ask for solutions/options for the implementation in a markdown file as a spec
Review the document. If satisfied, let it build everything.
Iterate over it until you have something tangible. Fix the errors.
Do a simple test. If you can't fix the bug, ask for adding logs. Than share the logs with the errors.
If the code sucks, ask for a refactor.
If you have a lot of bugs, try to read the code and ask any stupid question you don't understand. At some point it would start to make a better version.
I sometimes try to make it think differently and prompt something like: you are an industry leader expert or architect etc. and analyze current architecture and come up with a plan that how would you design such a system from scratch.
Again ask for a plan before a big change. Commit any changes if you feel you made some progress.
I'm developing a web animation app right now that resembles Macromedia flash from my memory. Combining great libraries like Konva and gsap to create something that would solve my unique requirements. Maybe I could find something else that already works but I feel doing it this way is better in the long run because once I finished I will have full control over it.

I'm still trying to solve the issue. They wanted me to change the mime type from "audio/mp4" to "audio/m4a" then it didn't work and I converted files to mp3. And it still doesn't work while Apple, fountain.fm and others perfectly worked.

I installed Quetta Browser on my android to use the nostr web apps with the nos2x browser extension. I'd heard about the Kiwi browser before but it has been discontinued.
So far I enjoyed using it. I'm also keeping various nostrs apps in my tabs so it's like a nostr only app showcase.

You don't have to be a rich go developer to build a high end nostr relay. You can host your nostr relay in a cheap, shared host with a ordinary mysql/sqlite database.
Now it is possible with Phatru, a new library to build customized nostr relays in PHP, architecture is inspired by Khatru (https://github.com/fiatjaf/khatru).

I couldn't get an API credentials for an Instagram business account. I was obliged to create a Facebook account first which I deleted a few years ago. You can't create an anonymous account, you have to give your real name. After doing a captcha puzzle that tested my IQ, I was asked to take a web cam picture. It's not just a picture though. You need to turn your head around: left right up and down.
After doing all of that my account immediately got suspended and it was automatically "Appealed". Now I got a new email from facebook that my review is unsuccessful and my account is permanently disabled.
Long story short, Facebook is crazy, nostr is a gift. It's a shame that almost no one uses or even knows about it.
All we can do is keep using it and building on it. Once you taste the freedom, you can't go back.

I joined a bunch of NIP-28 Public chats from Amethyst, but I couldn't verify it. I even checked the code to see what's happening there:`https://github.com/vitorpamplona/amethyst/blob/e10332c957df3527472c28489f0272fa31aaea2b/quartz/src/main/java/com/vitorpamplona/quartz/nip28PublicChat/list/ChannelListEvent.kt#L65`
Basically, it should have been adding the channels to a NIP-51 - List.
here is the nak command which I used to fetch my "joined" list:

That' great. I personally enjoy yakihonne.com and there is also habla.news , what's fun is they are all interoperable so you can change your mind and switch clients any time. And bitcoin is borderless and sanctions free.
Do you miss any features from those platforms. I heard from others that discoverability is a problem in nostr

My flow is you publish the article using existing tools like yakihonne or habla. Then you just add the naddr to the nostr-static config and run the tool. Yakihonne puts the summary, title, image to the tags. So i don't think i need an front matter

I have a NIP proposal called Zaps for comments. Idea is: clients and relays only accept a zap as a reply, if you opted in for that note. and you’re expected to refund the zaps back if they are legit.

NIP-07 Extension Support:
We've integrated support for NIP-07 extensions! I've tested it with nos2x, and Alby tests are on the way. Beside being anonymous, you can select NIP-07 mode in options to sign events with your keys.
Customizable Settings:
Previously, all settings were hard-coded, including relays. Now, you have the power to add and remove relays as you wish. Plus, you can choose to append NIP-07 relays at runtime.
Improved npub Parsing:
We've enhanced our npub parsing in Twitter/X bios. This means you can zap many more people who have already added their npub in their bios. 🌟
Bug Fixes:
I've squashed some bugs on Twitter and YouTube that were causing multiple zap buttons to appear or zaps to be directed to the wrong person. Now, everything should work smoothly!
We're transitioning from an alpha to a beta phase, and it's a great time to get involved if you're interested in contributing!
