I read a lot, but not as much as I'd like. I'm a peace activist, lapsed Discordian, and Quaker. My family masks, because not only has COVID killed 1.2m people in America, but it's afflicted many more with long COVID. My family is fairly radical in our avoidance of plastic, and we work assiduously to reduce our carbon footprint.

For me, the red line was funding and supporting apartheid and a genocide, and blocking the intruments of international law from addressing it.
All Harris needed to do to win my vote was to give us a credible plan for a ceasefire, rather than going along with an administration using its immoral UNSC veto power to block the will of the entire rest of the world in trying to bring about a peaceful resolution to our generation's greatest shame, still ongoing.

They're our beloved pets. The first was taken by something that came out of the woods. We didn't see what, and the trail didn't go far enough for us to find our girl, although we were fairly deep into the woods when it ended. The other hen was ill, and not as young as she once was, so we had her in the indoors hospital pen, where she lived out the remainder of her life getting good food and amprolium-laced water as long as she wanted it.

I'd still shy away from following a link from an email directly, on general principles. If you never do it, you never get tricked. If I see an email from a place where I have some relationship, I invariably go to my bookmark for the place and find the notification or information by navigating through their site.

Neither of them is my top pick by a long shot but damned if they're not both entirely acceptable. I'm kind of stunned that the blue team has a ticket I'll vote for, after so very many years.
