cool, there are radios for sale on Etsy. I've been following for a number of years. This year it's growing much faster. It's not a replacement for the Internet or faster comms but it serves a purpose

Thanks! Do you use meshtastic ?

Another project can send nostr notes but not receive https://github.com/geoffwhittington/meshtastic-bridge it will be interesting to see how each are different

https://github.com/geoffwhittington/meshtastic-bridge supports posting nostr notes

np! There's another project that integrates with matrix from the same user but doesn't have this nostr ability. It supports weather forecasts, maps, etc

cool, do u have a link to the software?

2024-03-17 05:30:05 UTC

This project allows sending nostr messages over meshtastic https://github.com/geoffwhittington/meshtastic-bridge

have you seen the meshtastic / Nostr integration

Are there good examples adding support for a different cryptocurrency to Nostr than Bitcoin?

2023-12-13 03:00:01 UTC

Are there good examples of how a nostr event opens an app? I'm on mobile using Amethyst. I'd like to create an app that a user can open easily. Is that what this is supposed to enable?
Thanks!

@npub1tsg…htk4 Are there public lightning rpc nodes for mainnet or testnet ? I want to test an integration with lightning but i don't want to create a whole environment

What are the weak points of NoStr from resilience and censorship perspective

2023-05-14 20:14:31 UTC

@npub1tsg…htk4 Are you familiar with federated systems? What flaws do they have versus decentralized ones?

2023-05-12 02:15:33 UTC

- reply

Thanks! Keep an eye out for others who may be interested in being off grid and still connected to NoStr

Challenge with using LoRa is the bandwidth restrictions. In this implementation the relay collects the Event as chunked text and then reassembles it. Subscriptions are not working yet but at least posts do

I built a small experiment to send NoStr posts using a Meshtastic radio and MM Relay. Cool, right?

2023-05-12 02:10:50 UTC

@npub1tsg…htk4 Are you aware of anyone using a LoRa based radio to send NoStr posts

2023-05-08 16:33:35 UTC

Is there a python library that allows for nostr lightning payments? I don't know where to start with that.
Thank you!

Are there low bandwidth nostr proposals, for example LoRa ?

2023-02-12 03:32:57 UTC

I can send NoStr messages off grid using radio mesh. DM's are an interesting next opportunity
