While in cash would mean they would receive cash based on a bitcoin price (i don’t know what they would use as ref, risk of manipulation). In kind is the obvious reasonable thing

My view and so also what i want to see addressed
Israel’s various governments have been good at never explicitly saying they want everything “from the river to the sea” but acting to get it. So overall Palestinians are getting robbed of “their land”
At the same time, on a map, even “from the river to the sea” big israel is tiny and surrounded by muslims countries, and muslim countries whose jews and christians (numerous before) have massively fled
+ Palestine was never a country nor was there a very specific Palestinian culture or history (even though there is now, that is what violence does, what nakba does)
So one can’t help to wonder if everything would not be better and simpler if Israel got the west bank (i am not even sure they want gaza) Gaza probably is part of Egypt, west bank palestinians relocate to Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc and it is settled. It sounds like promoting ethnic cleansing and so it is really bad etc but practically it would be better for everyone even if unfair in many ways

They have no savings and no incentive to save as it would be a huge effort as they are making little money and have no available savings instrument simple and not dilutable
They have little ability to have access to credit as well which is also a huge disadvantage in a world where money is created this way

Something i always wonder is “does cheap money, making “risk-taking” odds much more favorable than they would be in a sound-money world, helped innovation. It obviously helped scammers, con-artists etc, it is obv completely unfair as a system, but does it as a side effect incentives people to risk a lot more than they would otherwise, and we might lose part of this in a sound-money system?

I use “bullionvault” so it is basically a custodian and i have to trust them. I could withdraw into fiat easily, it allows to withdraw in gold too but never did it. It shows how gold is inferior in terms of self-custody, verifiability, etc etc to bitcoin. I am just afraid that the monetary crisis we are going to go through will not end up with bitcoin as people are stupid but with gold as states will choose it as they control it more. For them fiat > gold > bitcoin, but fiat might soon lose the confidence of the people and then they have to propose something

He is a genius marketer but he also has an ability (or his teams) to miraculously deliver and save himself of his lies. I remember 2018/2019 and Tesla on the verge of running out of cash, the production nightmares etc. He lied, as you said, repeatedly, with taking private 420, with robotaxis everywhere in 2 years thanks to fully autonomous vehicle he knew were impossible, he raised money on those lies, and was successful at solving the issues (probably thanks to the money he raised on those lies)
Musk is certainly selling narratives and lies but he is also, certainly also quite good at getting things done. There is an issue with regulator and justice punishing only the liars who fail. Basically, if Elizabeth Holmes had in the end found a business model for Theranos, the fake tests would have been forgotten. As long as you don’t punish liars who succeed, despite their success, you will continue seeing Holmes, Maddoffes, Bankman-Fried the guy from Fyre Festival etc. This fake it till you make it ethos is a bad one
