I had been looking for a secure private messenger that isn't in the top 3 or 4 by popularity.
Delta Chat seems to be a good one.
-- delivery is fast with reliable notifications
-- little to no battery drain
-- mobile and Linux desktop apps are great
-- no fraud like Session seems to be doing now.
I just picked one of their recommended chatmail relays to use. I'm not into running my own.

You've got better things to do than read my goings on, but what fun the Delta! You've really helped me.
Linux desktop client is beautiful, snaps right to the screen on startup, picked out the relay from the list myself, synced a mobile in minutes.
Easy. Nice. Happy!

I wonder if this Delta Chat is any good and fun?
I always like to have one offbeat messenger running.
My previous favorite one was Session messenger. I like it, but it might shut down in 90 days barring a funding miracle.
Might try Delta after I see what's going on with Session. Delta looks easy enough.

The saddest and most stressful adoption case we ever had. She only lasted 5 weeks. At least we had those.
Sweet Lola. A good girl. ❤️
I didn't know there were rescues and vets in Greensboro that are crooked as shit.
She was full of fast-growing tumors. Rescue sent Lola to a quack vet to have outer tumor sheared off and sewn up. That made the inner part roar to life and fast grow. Rescue slow-walked calls for help.
We sent her out calmly and with love. 😢

There are two dogs in that picture. The less visible one is in the crook of my arm. JJ. Still living and doing OK
The other one, Paco (AKA Peekie), has departed. He was the oldest one at the shelter when we adopted. We all had several good years together and think about him all the time.
We often adopt old. Shorter time together but very rewarding.

I saw a marvelous Jeep this morning.
This was just a small part of it. There were things on the wheels, mirrors, headlights, etc.
Notice taillights, bumper.

I enjoy the real estate reality shows where the purchasing couple is buying their million dollar house. They get to the kitchen, see the oven, and say "oh, perfect for our baking."
The oven is a $2500 commercial one, and the baking is a sheet of refrigerator cookie dough from one of those tubes.
