A younger me would have been more certain than I would claim now. I'm certain we have souls and there's something after, though the exact shape of that is something I don't think we can know for certain, even with reports of those who have literally died and come back. I don't think any single religion has all the answers, as they're all institutions of humanity in the end.

There's nothing that gets you pondering mortality quite like the death of someone who's had a positive impact on your life.

I don't need a machine to do that, I'm perfectly capable of doing that myself 😆

I'm a fan, and use monorepos at work. It's definitely got some nice benefits once you get it configured right.

At least quote the whole paragraph instead of cutting out the last sentence. The answer to your question is right there.

At a minimum, people making customer facing apps should be getting a third party audit/pentest by a security firm regardless of how much code is prompted or hand written. Don't want some malefactor to take over your system or worse.

Seconded, AI claims both the wrong type of oil and the wrong capacity for the engine with the model year I have of my car

I was noticing more the artifacts of the three different LLM powered editors you used (that I recognize) and at least two LLM rule directories 😆

Had way too much fun with fellow Demon Slayer cosplayers today as Haganezuka

Got a few songs in the works, and soon to upload a cover of Over the Misty Mountains I worked on as part of an ocarina septet, Knights of the Round Flute. Will be putting both the audio and video into the valueverse, and hopefully will be able to use the response to get the holdouts in the group to set up LN addresses of their own so the split goes to all seven of us.

Donation box I've been using when performing got a makeover courtesy of a vendor at faire taking his laser cutter to it and me putting some teak oil on after.

DNS Registrar:
We're working on transferring your domain, but you can choose to set up your DNS settings for when the transfer completes.
Me:
Awesome, here's my web and email DNS settings to do that.
*transfer happens*
Registrar:
Doesn't use the settings and redirects to a generic landing page.
At least my renewals are half the price, but come on.

A friend said I should coin an "ocarina test" for image generators, so I decided to write an article on the topic. Never would have expected to write something about an intersection of AI and ocarinas, but here we are.

Did Fountain ever fix the issue they had with not applying value splits? I remember @nprofile…ytle mentioning it but don't know whether it's been rectified

What should I consider for replacing the shared wallet on Alby?
I'm so exhausted from over 8 months of a futile search for a new software engineer role my wife, unprompted said to take a break from it.
I'm barely managing to even keep up regular ocarina practice, much seeing if my latest recordings are good enough for editing two tracks I want to publish.
I need something simple that's not going to accelerate the financial bleed with no day job.

Since I had a request recently to see what the ocarina collection looks like, this is the most recent photo of them. The total is 27 if we're only counting the ceramic ones pictured. In retrospect, missed a ceramic one my sis-in-law got me as a gift while in Japan and also neglected photographing the 3 plastic models I have. Only 2 away from that magic number 33 with the a grand total of 31. 🙂

I've officially set up a ko-fi donation page! If you find value in my music or anything else and want to send some value back, you don't need a Lightning wallet to do so.

Performing live at the local renaissance faire this upcoming weekend. Probably should actually remember to ask friends to take photos/video when I play at some point 😆
