Speaking of bikes, I'm now actually enjoying commuting around by #bike and my butt is pounding my Books saddle into something comfortable. Just in time for the rainy season.
My main concerns with rainy season are these: I sweat a lot and I think wearing rain gear would leave me as wet from sweat as I would be by the rain. And I rely on glasses to see and those get covered with raindrops. I both want to see and be seen in the rain and murk of #Portland winter.

There's not enough paint in the world to paint all the dicks it would take to make NE Going street (my neighborhood East/West bike boulevard) a smooth ride. Every type of pavement imaginable was used in different stretches of it and it's all thrashed. It would be one long giant dick only visible from the air.
