My relay situation is kinda mad? 😅 😂 🤣 I love that. And the long ugly ass link too! 🤣 I love it! 💥 Thank you for taking the time to be able to deduce that much. I appreciate it. I have been meaning to look into it. I have been noticing that on some clients relays are broken down into categories ... like read and write. So yeah, i can believe that it looks like a tangled mess of ignorant patchwork. The info you shared on the Basspistol relay also had some relay specific optimization ... it seemed, for GROUPS and INBOXING or MESSAGING DIRECTLY OR something. It looked good so i logged in. Oh yeah, I remember. It is optimized for video and streaming, i think. 🔥 Awesomeness! I will definitely check this out🙌 . Much appreciated

Oh, yes, absolutely. I did see that this interview is from a year ago. But it was especially relevant for me, since I was getting away from mainstream social media about 3 months back, and decided to try Mastodon ... but it was slow and clunky and not too intuitive, i guess ... but it got me used to the idea of decentralization. It was during this time that someone suggested Nostr. and yeah ... two months later, there is no going back. Nostrverse is far superior imho ... and yes@ The independent music advocacy, of course 🤘

2026-09-29 11:45:13 UTC

I am still new here, but Nostr keeps blowing my mind.
The experience is so different from mainstream social media.
I keep discovering new tools and functionality and though some
things are cumbersome, for the most part this place is teeming
with possibilities and opportunities ...
and cool people doing cool things.
Most recently I discovered @nprofile…9uku
Not only did he write the brilliant article for @nprofile…jw6y
but as it turns out he is also a multifaceted musician and entrepreneur who runs the innovative Basspistol platform.
Setto shares his journey from graphic designer to musician,
revealing how his passion for electronic music led him to create a community-driven space for artists, as well as the challenges and rewards involved in promoting independent music through self-hosted and federated platforms like PeerTube.
Emphasizing the importance of community and collaboration,
he dives into the concept of digital literacy and the political implications of choosing free and open-source software over mainstream platforms.

Fuck Ed Sheeran and his cowardice and supposed "neutrality". And as always ... Mad respect for Macklemore and
Finneas, Lukas Graham, and Aaron Rowe and Beoga, who left the tour due to Macklemore’s removal.
“Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed,” Finneas posted on Instagram.
In his own statement, Rowe wrote,
“As Irish people we know all too well about genocide,
forced famine, and violent occupation. I cannot stand by and allow billionaires to use their position of power to silence the rightful voices of those who speak up against Israeli genocide and the savage murder of children. I would lose all respect for myself to carry on as normal.”

Oh yeah! 🤘 😃 🤘 Absolutely! High praise indeed! Thank you. so much ... I am not familiar with Codeine, and will have to investigate, but Nirvana, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam are what got me into alternative rock and grunge as a teenager, that mid- Nineties Sound is my favourite, Its what put me on the road to Black Sabbath and eventually heavy metal! And stuff like Tool. And yes, it was the dropped D tuning that evoked the whole thing. It came to me quite naturally. Definitely another one of my favourites.😅

Yes, indeed/ It has been your website 🙌 😃 I dig the layout and the interface is simple and intuitive. 🤘 Its actually scary how many good artists are on their ... i think i enjoyrd pretty much every artist i clicked on. Mishkin is on a whole nother level. Loads still to explore. but tow to eat the elephant! lol ... i am opting for a bite at a time with a bit of time in between each to give that persons music some time to be in my head, before absorbing more ... but its been fun. The website is great ... imho

2026-08-18 17:27:46 UTC

No vocals this time ... I was experimenting with the guitar.
I created the electronica and beat in a DAW and then
i just improvised over that and played what flowed out.
It was pretty much the first take.
And some rudimentary mixing.

It is my own voice.

But I want to try again.

I actually felt fike I was transported back through time, to when I was a teenager in school and I would listen to the radio, and discover new music with no control over what would play next, yet perfectly happy to listen along. There was no #socialMedia yet, or if there was it was probably bbm and unknown to me ... People danced in nightclubs and smoked cigarettes and weed, and drank alcohol. This episode reminded me of how cool it actually was listening to the radio. A musical journey around the world featuring independent talent. Cool host as well.
"New To Radar" definitely gets my vote.
If that is a #pilot ... I definitely want to hear more.

Thank you, so much. That is #useful information. Yeah, i am pretty new to github as well, but i understood how change control works for coding, and pulling and committing code to a central repository, so it was cool too see it all in action on this project and i actually feel like i understand github a bit better now. The problem did not end up being with my links, but with github itself, and some anomoly where it was turning the images to text files. And i missed it, so i uploaded them again and deleted the old ones, and it works!🙌 But, yeah, thanks for taking the time to point out the PodPing section! I guess it is a lesson to save a copy before posting. I had a look in Yakihonne, but the articles were not visible there ... and with Habla.news ... they did not give me an option to login using the browser extension, so I did not bother proceeding.

Calling it a peace plan is idiotic. It implies a non-existent war between two military states. This has been a disproportionate collective punishment of Palestinians as a whole and was never directed at the freedom fighters, labelled "terrorists", alone. This week, the Israeli military escalated airstrikes and artillery bombardments across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip - including Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Deir el-Balah - killing dozens of Palestinians. Fighter jets targeted residential buildings, a mosque, and other infrastructure in Gaza City, resulting in multiple civilian casualties. The operations continued as NetanYahoo rejected a U.S.-backed disarmament and withdrawal plan, vowing that the military will maintain its positions and continue its ethnic cleansing project until Hamas is fully disarmed. A study commissioned by Pennsylvania State University revealed that 82% of Jewish Israelis support the forcible expulsion of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, with 70% stating that if Palestinians leave, they should never be allowed to return. Meanwhile the Israeli military has continued to steal more land. After earlier truce agreements, they established a perimeter fence buffer zone. However, ongoing ground operations and a systematic "leveling" of neighborhoods have continually pushed this boundary deeper. In mid-2026, the physical wall and barrier along this line were expanded by more than 2 kilometres further inside Gaza's territory. Since then, military maps quietly issued to international aid organizations added an "orange line" restricted area. This designation now cordons off an additional 11% of Gaza. Together, these direct military zones and restricted corridors encompass nearly two-thirds (64% to 65%) of Gaza's total land area, strictly limiting or completely prohibiting Palestinian access, squeezing the Palestestinians into an ever shrinking concentration camp of starvation and misery. All this with the full knowledge and consent of the majority of Israeli citizens. Netanyahoo is buying time ... in order to implement a final solution.
