I'd like to take this moment to remind everyone that as far as I know, @npub1q40…x8jw is the only ham radio club that has this specific item in their mission statement:

Fellow #HamRadio folx. With all the immigration stuff, are there any established nets of any type, that would specifically make a good forum for passing traffic across borders to help separated families stay in touch for free?
Seems like it could be a good way to put our licenses to a good humanitarian use, while subversively obeying the law, since one of the stated purpose of our licenses in the US is to foster international goodwill.

Does anybody maintain a database/website of appliances, home goods, etc. where things are scored on their build quality, longevity, and serviceability, and non-internet-of-shitifiedness?
Like, an appliance with no IT features, made of metal, with user replaceable parts, that lasts 20 years, gets a perfect score.

Digital chat modes like psk31, rtty, Olivia, etc. should be doable with the catch that it would be easier if I could do my typing with one hand.
On my older smaller cell phone, I could do that easily, holding the phone and typing on the whole keyboard with my thumb.
This is a long way to get around to a question - I'm wondering if there is any existing software/apps that lets you use your phone like a keyboard for PC.
Guess it's time to internet searches...

Okay - so we're in a phase where the baby won't sleep unless being held, so I'm not getting my usual radio/project time at night because my spouse and I are basically doing shifts holding the baby, so once everyone else is asleep, I'm either holding the baby, or asleep myself.
Anyway, it rules out doing voice modes at the moment, and I'm no good at CW (had gotten up to about 7wpm a few years ago, but haven't done a CW contact in probably 5 or 6 years at this point.)
But.....

Does anybody know where I might find pictures of the “Pink Slips” (maybe they were actually green?) that the FCC used to send as a violation notice to hand? I thought a quick internet search would turn some up, but I’m striking out.
