two instances providing the same service. Choice is the decentralized way. Last I checked momostr.pink was blocked by fewer AP instances than mostr.pub. but I trust @alex@gleasonator.dev to continue to develop mostr, not so sure about the other. Follow both and people get stuck with duplicates of every post!

I have heard that part of that and other opposition to it is the phrase "fediverse" makes people think of fetishes. I think there might be a kink-finding app with a similar sounding name too.

I recently learned that when you buy a $5 box of #GirlScout cookies, less than $1 actually goes to the girls' scout troop. So if you are buying the #cookeis because you like them, great. If you are doing it only to help the girls, give them a #cash #donation instead, it's 5 times more powerful.
Oh and apparently they aren't supposed to tell people this because reasons.
