Had a great conversation with @npub1jpy…yfwv today. We both toyed around with the web as a hobby in the late 90s before eventually turning it into a career much later on.
We talked a lot about that, but then got into accessibility. I just loved how she referred to it as "a heart thing" 😊

I prefer consuming written content most of the time too, but much prefer making video vs. writing... and luckily enough people seem to like it, lol.
I do find it strange they dropped that from the survey as well though.

Caught something over the holidays that gave me a cough. I even lost my voice at one point.
Been feeling fine for the past ~4 days, though, so figured it's time to get back on track with my recordings!
Hit record, say like four words and then I start coughing like crazy and it just won't stop 🙃

yeah that totally makes sense! I was thinking of a single error box, but only because I had a very simple form.
With multiple inputs, should they use aria-invalid on the element, and aria-errormessage for the error itself?

I'm working on a new free course to replace my HTML & CSS for beginners playlist which is now 8 years old. Figured it could use an update!
That old playlist has 25 videos in it... I've managed to record over 60 for the new version. Seemed like a great idea until it came time to edit them, lol

Last week I had some high-ish priority things on my to do list, so naturally I ended up working on a side-project instead.
I told myself I'd get to the important things this week... instead, I started a new side-project.

I mean, it looks like they tried to wipe it off at least. Mine would have just left a giant glob on there, and then blamed someone else, even if they're the only ones who use that toothpaste

other than that early of a morning, that sounds a lot like my schedule 😅
I read instead of YT to sleep, but that also means I often take *a long* time to get through books, because I doze off pretty fast.

So many amazing things coming to CSS these days, but I have a feeling anchor positioning is going to be one that gains traction pretty quickly because it solves such a big pain point and is pretty easy to use.

One thing with native CSS nesting that is constantly catching me off-guard is that you can't nest inside of pseudo-classes/elements.
Was playing with popovers and you can't put a @starting-style inside of :popover-open... took me way to long to realize what was wrong.
I knew this was a limitation of how it works with pseudo-elements, so I should have realized it sooner... so I'm partially writing this to let others know, and also hoping it helps me remember 😆
