My bigger gripe with "disappearing scrollbars" is that they can make it very hard to scroll if you are not using either a touchscreen or a mouse with a scroll wheel. If you have to actually click the scrollbar with your cursor then good luck finding it ...

Carrot harvest round 2! I got a full five pounds this time. They couldn't get long because the bed wasn't very deep, so some of them decided to get *wide* ahahaha #gardening #plants

My very first carrots! This is 1/2 to 2/3 of the crop - I thinned them out and left the others to grow larger. Yes, the best of them are short - my bed isn't all that deep. I got a little over a pound, and froze the greens too. #gardening

Wild week for story publication attempts. "Integrity" was rejected after being on a top 10% short list, with compliments and no critical feedback. Bummer. But another zine wanted to do a rewrite of a different story - got that back yesterday and I'm okay with it! So may be on the cusp of a second sale.

The wild sunflowers seem to be very much appreciated by the native pollinators, such as these two striped sweat bees. I was able to get a good photo because it was a cold morning ... I bet they spent the night in the flower.
