Well Vanadium (Default chromium browser on GOS) is more secure, and Firefox has less security features than chrome/chromium on mobile and desktop. Sticking with chrome based browsers will improve anonymity. I'm not sure if Spotify works in a mobile browser but you could try it. The less apps the better. You could use a Work profile to containerize your non open source apps, or use another profile entirely. For improving overall security, ensure your Settings - Security has Secure App Spawning enabled, native code debugging disabled, scramble pin layout enabled, and under Privacy, allow sensors permission to apps by default disabled. This last one will prevent apps from accessing device sensors, which include orientation, light, gravity, speed, (and supposedly mic kinda) and some others. It will probably break auto rotate on apps that don't have the Sensors permission, but you can manually enable it by going to the app permissions.

What data is collected and by who? Please elaborate what you mean by this, and in what way Google is more trustworthy than GOS. If you mean by the mere fact that Google is a company and therefore has laws and a reputation to maintain then I agree.

It supports 4k! Yeah, with NewPipe or invidious (by default) Google sees the content your IP is trying to access. Using Piped + VPN makes it more difficult to track users watch history because they would have to go to your VPN company first (hopefully you don't use Nord or Express or something) and then they have to go to the specific Piped instance you have been using, and get them to also hand over the data. From what I've read, you generally don't need Piped if you are using a VPN, but again, it gives you a bit more privacy. Also, in my experience Piped loads much quicker than Invidios and especially NewPipe.

Invidious is great, although like with NewPipe, YouTube can see the URLs your IP requests. piped.video proxy's all requests through the central server of your choice.
