Ineffable Vulpine

I'm Aki. I'm a lil' baby fox... Okay, maybe a big baby fox. The point is I'm in diapers, alright?

My pronouns are they/them.

I love climbing rock, looking at space stuff, advanced counting, and playing with the beep boop machines (that last one is my job, so don't get confused if I throw a tantrum about them sometimes).

I'm also on the butterfly app.

your pole shows pretty much equal proportions of people who say tuh-ple and people who say too-ple, which suggests there's no prescriptive pronunciation of this word.

, well, getting them to play nicely with my Matrix server traffic was a serious PITA. Now that I'm suddenly, after no server side changes, having problems again and downdetector is creeping up, I'm starting to suspect that they're at it once more.

idk if they're doing it for U.S. customers get, but ecosia is working on their own search index, if you want to escape google/bing without using brave and supporting that creep. Ecosia is also supposedly using Mistral for their search summaries.

I am also going down this rabbit hole. However, I think I'm going to try the ESS route. It's Element's server application, which is supposed to bundle everything you need in an easy helm app.

zero. To the point they'll invite any random black person to go smoke weed, even if they've only just met. Literally a thing that happened to my sister's boyfriend. Who, being from a much more diverse area, declined and then promptly asked how they knew he wasn't a narc. Since, you know, he's a complete stranger. Keep in mind, many of these people can count the times they've seen a black person in the flesh on one hand.

that, and the experience of being a black person growing up in a white part of the country is just miserable because everyone assumes you're some kind of weed guru. So many interactions that boil down to "No, I've never even tried the stuff; no, I don't want to try it; and no, I'm not your friend because you're a pothead and I'm black."

This dumb baby routine won't fly anymore. You won't be getting a diaper change until you finish your vector calculus worksheet.

I had such a good sleep schedule. I always went to bed before it got too late and woke up before 08:00. Then I started poking around the NOAA API and it's now... *Checks watch." Almost 01:00... Yay~

I also just realized DMs are weird on mastodon, so, while I love it here and encourage more use of this server, I also updated my profile with a link to my Bluesky account, in case that's your cup of tea.

Through changes in online platforms and just general life stuff, I've noticed I've not really made many friends in the babyfur/ABDL community. I want to change that, so feel free to DM me or @ me.

good old H.P. as a mixed race New England kid obsessed with Eldritch horror, his work sure was... Interesting to read.
I do get a chuckle from the fact that half of my family is from that blue blood high society he wanted so desperately to be a part of, and the other half are the people he tried to hate to prove what a blue blood he was.
Also, I stood on his grave, so that was fun. Apparently he did renounce all his hateful ideologies towards the end of his life. He died too early to really do anything with his newly discovered human decency, though.

You know, nobody can speak for every person of color, but so far the "liberal" white people I know have always seemed to feel otherwise, so here, this is for all those "well intentioned" liberal white voters out there.
As a PoC, I give everyone permission to vote for Kamala Harris. Yep. She has done some shit that was pretty shady, but I'm here to tell you it's okay to stand by her this time. And if some PoC says you're a racist if you vote for her, just tell yourself they're not "one of the good ones." You know how. You've done it before.
