Meh. GPT seems to actually be consistently better for coding anyway, and we have yet to see GPT 5.5.
Plus, other models are getting surprisingly good, like the new Kimi K2.6.
And I saw that Mimo v2.5 Pro was released just today. I never used that model for coding, but it _did_ do really well for OpenClaw agentic work before I switched to GPT via a ChatGPT $20/month subscription.
Cursor, however, appears to cap my legacy subscription to GPT 5.3 Codex and Opus 4.6.

Yeah, Spreaker can do that; it's weird. If I set that "Manage RSS" option to "enabled" (which is the default), it will publish a Spreaker-hosted RSS feed with added elements, kind of like Feedburner's old SmartCast feature worked.
In fact, do you remember a couple of years ago that my own podcast was duplicated in the Index? We traced that to the scraped Spreaker RSS feed that I didn't realize was being created by Spreaker.

Wait. Is this a malicious clone? If not, this could be a side effect of Spreaker's legacy system that would make an RSS feed of podcasts submitted to Spreaker (originally for inclusion in iHeartRadio), even though the podcasts were submitted with an RSS feed. For example:

It was someone who did some basic cross calculations and estimated extrapolations.
For example, if you run the prompts through OpenRouter and see the cost is $100, and you run it through a Claude subscription and see it used 2% of your limit, then you can infer that you'd get about $5,000 from Claude's subsidization.

Anthrophic and OpenAI have so drastically subsidized their subscriptions that even with reduced usage, you're probably still getting a killer deal.
Before this throttling, that last stat I heard was that the $200/month Claude Max plan gives up to $5,000 worth of inference (what you'd pay through OpenRouter or the direct API).

Actually, no. Here's the bigger question:
Now that each tag has its own docs page, why even separate the examples? I think it'd be a much better experience for everyone, and easier to maintain, if all examples where on the same page, not separate pages.

Indexes are the first optimization. But you could add a group by to also get the shows count, because episodes from the same podcast would share the same podcast_id (or whatever), right?
I'm not being sarcastic here, but try asking Sonnet, Opus, or GPT-5.4 or 5.3-Codex. I've used those models more and more (via Cursor) and they helped me optimize my own engine from using 20 servers for 2–3 hours to only 10 servers in 30 minutes!

Are you sure that's the problem? Because the API is showing the _same_ number for podcasts as for episodes.
So it's not like it's miscounting, it's like both options are using the _same_ calc function.

I see potentials and shortcomings that it seems others don't see. I anticipate possible futures and want to avoid unnecessary redundancies while laying a solid foundation for future greater potential.

@npub1fmx…wp74 @npub1rcn…dw4h I keep trying to remind people that the bigger concerns about disclosing things are:
1. Whether AI _generated_ the content—I think people care less about whether it was voiced by AI.
2. There's already a legal requirement to disclose financial relationships (sponsors, provided products, affiliates, etc.). I think we shouldn't be making multiple single-purpose tags that could be combined in one simple tag.

ActiveCampaign requires a template, but I've designed my own in the past. Even with a designed template, I kept it simple.
I used to send the RTF-style emails years ago, but then with multiple brands, I thought it would be good to give them a bit more of a branded look.
But since The Audacity to Podcast is still very much a personal brand, I might make that the only "super simple" template.

I beg to differ.
Since iOS 14.5, Apple does essentially own the "RSS feed" in Apple Podcasts because they proxy the feed and serve only from their proxy. HLS video is now another thing they will host through their proxy.
Even their chapter support relies on MP3 chapters first and uses their proprietary "timed links" instead of the open standards of chapter links (legacy or P2.0).
I see Apple using open tech to build proprietary solutions.

Another approach you could take is what I've seen some other tools do, using actual delimiters.
Amazon, for example, using |, and you could potentially use a simple comma.
With a comma, you could automatically turn each thing into a sort of "tag," like I do with PodChapters' transcription engine:

That always frustrated me with searches. Because surrounding one of the terms with quotation marks seems like it should be verbatim. Like "Crime Junkie" would return different results from "Junkie Crime."

I recently went down a rabbit hole to understand the speed of light better.
Did you know we actually don't know and can't even measure if light travels at the same speed in all directions? We just assume it's 186K miles per second because that's the speed of bouncing light to a surface and back again. It's actually possible for light to be an infinite speed in one direction.

I think we need to do more testing and verifications before we go saying that Apple is "blocking" non-Apple links.
Certainly, their automatic "timed links" point to Apple platforms. But chapter links are different. And Apple certainly isn't breaking links in episode notes.

BTW, this reminds me of a proposal from someone (maybe it was even me?) to support this kind of thing natively. Like allowing you to add "product" hyperlinks with Amazon ASIN, Apple ID numbers, and similar codes for resource-linking. But I think it proved inefficient for anything except bots when the podcaster could simply make their own "Amazon" and "Apple" links separately.
