Some of you are wondering what happens when the food crossings into #gaza are closed, and whether the aid and supplies that had been entering will be enough until further notice. The reality is more complicated. You wake up early and rush to the market, only to find most essentials gone. What remains is sold at double the old price. Some traders exploit the situation, blaming the closures. You return home carrying fewer groceries, and much more sadness and frustration.

Officially: All crossings that allow food into Gaza have been closed‼️‼️
We have returned to square one.

war officially broke out between the US & Israel against #iran
ppl rushed to the markets to stock up on supplies, fearing that #Israel might close the food crossings. When we woke up, my mother went to the market but found only a few food items; most were already sold out. The truth is, I am mentally & physically not ready for another famine or siege. I am truly afraid,& am trying to share my fear in the hope that it might calm down a bit, or I might feel some sense of safety.

Hello my friends, today I made a clip with my friend @npub1tpv…gl28. This clip shows the orbits of the inner planets for one full orbit of the Earth around our sun. It all looks so peaceful from this far away.
Where will we all be, after one more orbit around the sun?

Hello 👋 My name is Omer, I am 16 years old, and I currently live in Khan Yunis, #Gaza, #Palestine.
How are you? I hope you are well. I wish you a blessed Friday.
It has become a little difficult to study in secondary school lately because of the constant bombing and attacks, the cold and rain, and hunger.
My brother Khaled prepares flyers if you would like to share them with your friends or post them around your city.

Hello 👋 this is Omer, I’m 16 years old, I live in Khan Yunis, #Gaza, #Palestine.
How are you? I hope you are well.
I have 5 brothers, I’m the 6th and youngest son. My oldest brothers are married and they have children, I was a very young uncle!
I’m trying to study to complete high school. My brother Khaled is also still a student. Studying in a war zone is difficult, with unreliable access to electricity and internet, as you can imagine.
Help us:

How are you today?
The situation is still very difficult. My family used to live comfortably, now we’re struggling to find food, shelter and warm clothes. The nights are incredibly cold. Thank God it’s not raining today, but the forecast for the end of the week is worrying.
My brother got news he needs to pay an exorbitant amount to take his next uni exams.
Please help.
