That clip of Hannah Spencer shows a major difference between genuine grassroots politics and stage-managed BS.
Compare the stilted 'they aren't actors but they are trying to act' versus the honest humanity of the speakers.
Compare the "applaud now / cheer now" reactions of the right wing audience of a Lab/Con/LD/Refash/etc. and the crowd reactions there.
I expect attacks on:
* Her accent
* Her heritage
* Her looks / fashion / femininity
The RW press will be tearing through the image searches for her looking like an actual working person and they will probably find something that just reinforces her credentials and try to present it as negative.

I had a look at this but I was very disappointed to see that it relies on github, which is effectively Microsoft. The website says "Quit Big Tech" then reveals it uses it.

They seem to have managed to brainwash a large portion of the Israeli youth by conflating Zionism with Judaism. Thankfully not completely and there are still pockets of resistance and dissent. They learned from the original fascist regime, the USA, and managed to keep it minimal for now.
With the USA going "masks-off" (while ironically deploying masked killers on the streets) on the world stage, I just don't know where we are going to end up.

As yet another abusive man in the public eye comes to light, a train of thought occurred to me.
When I was a teenager I went through a short period of petty crime, mainly shoplifting very cheap items. I once got caught pinching a Mars bar and just being caught scared the shite out of me and that period ended.
That got me thinking about what makes certain people tick and why they think they can do what they want and not work in the same framework and social construct as the rest of us?
Any person with the slightest amount of empathy, remorse or even fear would take the opportunity of being protected by those in power to examine their behaviour and recognise their privilege.
Perhaps make amends within the bounds of "not getting caught" and at least do better from then on, even if just to keep being worth something to those in power who protected them.
But our society just seems to keep producing and rewarding monsters who see being caught out and then protected as some sort of green light to carry on and even escalate horrific behaviour.
I am afraid I have no answers here, apart from guillotines or at the very least taxation and somehow making the media honest.

It kind of was - I had another admin call to deal with today that I was nervous about. I found out that my method of doing a little bit every day for the last few weeks to keep on top of stuff but not get overwhelmed has paid off. I have managed to do everything myself. No Solicitors and no extra fees (that would have been £1200!) from the bank. Just waiting for a couple of letters back from the government and all the admin is done.
Got the final arrangements for the funeral sorted today as well. I think Mum would be proud and I know my step-dad appreciates me doing all the stuff he couldn't cope with.
We say goodbye to her next Wednesday then I need to start dealing with living arrangements and care for him. Having got through the last couple of weeks has given me some confidence though.

I have to admit to you, Team. I am having one of the hardest days I have had since Mum died. I just haven't been able to get a grip on this day.
Nothing particularly big or important has happened. Just a drizzly day in February where my dog was misbehaving and I couldn't focus or keep a level head. I let my post-Mum related tasks slip for the most part...
I woke up from a very *pleasant* dream which wasn't related to Mum or current events in my life at all. Waking up to a different reality from that pleasance was enough to unsettle me though. Lost love, lost comfort and lost hope are hard to get over.
Neuro-divergence and Depression are very strange and so unpredictable. Throw real life into the mix and what an odd place we end up at.
I have a hard road ahead of me for practical reasons but I am also dealing with my own fucked-up head-cannon. Keeping the outward behaviour synced has taken up more of my spoons than I realised.
Not sure what else to say...

They both use the original Atari 9-pin standard but some pins on the Amiga and ST allow for more buttons etc. The four directions and one fire button should work everywhere just fine. Nothing will explode :-)

One big problem for those already suffering is that this government are happy to treat the state we were in when they took power as an acceptable zero point. They wash their hands of suffering they don't directly cause as "the last lot's fault" and don't undo it. Then they spin any little thing they do do as them improving lives.
