are we sure that it's an open standard?
I was under the impression that Matrix was an "open protocol" for decentralised, secure communications "that provided a set of open APIs" for decentralised communication.
Unlike #XMPP which is an actual open #IETF standard with multiple implementations in the form of clients, servers, server components, and code libraries.

Apparently, for some strange reason completely unknown to me, today I woke up feeling in love with Diane from "Trainspotting" ( and Trainspotting 2, of course ), once again .. So, I had to open whatever YouTube proxy I found and watch a couple of videos of her. Absolutely bedazzled by her charms .. I have to say I feel quite happier now ... yo pienso igual. Por eso entiendo que MD es la opción correcta para el nivel inicial y la introducción LaTeX recién para el bachillerato .. de forma tal que el estudiante llegue medianamente preparado para el estudio universitario

Está muy bien comenzar la enseñanza de MD. Es el inicio correcto. Pero me parece muy importante enfatizar que MD no deja de ser un sistema de "marcado" y no de "maquetado".
Si bien su aprendizaje es indispensable, el objetivo a alcanzar debería ser que el estudiante tenga un nivel de conocimiento intermedio de #TeX #TeXLaTeX #LaTeX al momento de terminar su ciclo obligatorio y antes de ingresar a la Universidad. Es su única garantía de independencia.

y ni siquiera hace falta liarse con HTML. Ya hace casi dos décadas (2005) usaba txt2tags para escribir una página y después transformarla en html+css .. hoy por hoy solo me limito a escribir en md y usar pandoc para lograr el mismo objetivo sin escribir un solo tag html ...

it took me a while to find it but here it is.
This whole thing was _so_ exasperatingly obvious and had such a deep impact on how we use the internet to learn, access information, communicate with each other that I still have a hard time swallowing the fact that we had to undergo this whole sh1t show for so long!
It has always been so self evident that it never needed a lawyer to understand it! It just took simple observation and common sense!!
