What I love about sports and non-sports cards, despite my hobby nerd-ity, is constantly being exposed to new sets to learn about.
I saw this in the December 1979 issue of The Trader Speaks (America’s oldest sports hobby publication - establishe din 1968); I guess it’s time to research the 1978 Sunbeam Bread Superheroes Stickers.

Npub.pro is interesting with a ton of potential. The things to balance are that Wordpress is REALLY good, but my hosting is centralized. Now, it’s a sports card blog, am I at censorship risk? Probably not, but that’s not really the point. It would be nice to have zap integration and the “social” integration that the Nostr protocol provides.

I'm already making progress on this weekend's goals; I wrote one new piece for the blog and scanned a bunch of pages from the January 1980 issue of The Trader Speaks into my digital archives.
One of my favorite things from back issues of TTS is seeing all the game's greats who were regular signers at card shows. Brooklyn's second Baseball Card And Sports Memorabilia Show had Cal Abrams, Gener Hermanski, and Billy Loes!

First, congrats on an awesome iOS 1.0 release!
Second, am I supposed to be able to send sats out of the app (I can’t). Not a big deal for me, I plan on supporting creators and contributors via zap, but I think the use case to get content creators is to support them, and they will need to moves sats, right?

What do I plan on writing about this weekend? The Uber-rare ‘how to play better basketball’ booklets that were used as inserts in 1968 Topps Test packs. A set of 12 sold last weekend for about .25 BTC.
