Když vyhraje, tak bude mít další argument, že pokud vyhrál tebto soud, v podstatě znamená že je Satoshi Nakamoto. Pro nás co tomu rozumíme to samozřejmě není validní, ale mohl tím dost ovlivnit ostatní nováčky a nocoinery.

Osobní zkušenost nemám, ale vím že v Satoshi Labs to funguje tak, jak píšeš o Braiins (možnost zvolení si konkrétního poměru). A pokud pracuješ ve firmě která to nepodporuje přímo, dá se to udělat přes externí služby, kterým pošle tvůj zaměstnavatel Fiat na účet a oni ti pak pošlou bitcoin. Myslím že tohle nějak dělá Anycoin (21M Group) a ještě jedna česká firma, na kterou si teď nevzpomenu.

To je pravda, moc se omlouváme, ale bylo tam pořád co dělat, takže ani nebyl pořádně čas otevřít nostr, natož něco postovat. Dělo se tam toho spoustu. Konkrétně o plebstru asi nic nevím, jen snad že byli v New Yorku na Wolf akcelerátoru a Mates v předvečer Chaincampu u stolu vyprávěl, jaké to tam bylo.

I know there is a problem with metadata leaking who chats with who in nostr protocol when sending messages (both individual or group messages).
So I was thinking about it fow a while and I came up with an idea that could maybe at least partially help to solve or minimize this problem.
What if we implemented hierachic deterministic accounts and their derivation from one master key (seed, nsec...) and it would then allow you to generate new pair of keys for each conversation. Then you wouldn't have any connection between the people in conversation and their "real" (publicly known) pseudonyms they use for other nostr things.
I would like to explain whole process in detail:
First, the sender of the first message (or message request) sends message from his newly generated account to recipient's publicly-known npub (sender encrypts the message with recipient's npub). The message contains his publicly-known npub signed by his corresponding nsec, so the recipient can verify who send message request and it also contains another new npub to break the link between original contacting message and upcoming conversation. Then as a reply original recipient sends message from his newly generated account also containing publicly-known npub signed by corresponding nsec. This way they both know they are talking with the person who they wanted to talk with. They can know freely send each other message from new accounts and there is a very little link to original identity.
Only thing publicly visible to others on relays, is the fact somebody contacted this exact person and after a while "somebody else" contacted somebody who is completely unknown to other members of network. There is no way of connecting these two events if many people would chat at the same time and there could also occur slight delay (maybe even hours, days) between first contact (message request) and reply (accepting message request.
Only one entity that can now connect two events (or two accounts) is, I think, sender's and recipient's client.
Let me know, if this idea already exists or anything in it doesn't make sense to you. If it is useful maybe we could add another NIP...

When I was onboarding my friend through @npub1fnr…qcj8 he asked what can he do with it. He was confused, because in mainstream banking and fintech apps there are always many things to do, but in LN wallet you can only use 2 options/buttons - Send or Receive. So he asked how can change his sats back to fiat and certainly didn't expect me telling him how he can sell his sats to me for cash. It's just not common for normies to do things so P2P, they are pretty used to simple UX services.
I think we need to clear that noise and tell them where the signals are.

I think the costs are higher because you need to do it after every transaction (or every few transactions) whereas otherwise you can buy for larger amount once in a month or so.

Hey @npub1pls…kx8j I like your notifications center in the app but could you add sending notifications for new replies, messages, reactions, zaps, notes from specific users... It would be great to see the info outside the app like in the mainstream social media. I usually don't open the app every hour but just once or twice a day to see what's happening so I sometimes miss some content. Anyway, thanks for your work and for the best #nostr client nowadays.

I do use bitcoin as settlement method with some of my friends and family members but I know I have to use it much more than now and I would definitely try it. It's just hard for me to do the first step in such an established way of doing things like paying.

Thank you for your work. I have already left Wallet of Satoshi because of your better app and seriously considering leaving also Phoenix. But right now I am missing some features and I would like to suggest few of them to you:
1) Biometrics/PIN code lock
2) Hiding the balance
3) Dark mode
