I want to clarify how @npub1cnh…wtw0 implemented it.
- First, it checks if your instance supports it.
- If it supports it, it’ll use the new API from your instance and honor server-side and instance settings.
- Meaning that if you’re trying to quote someone for an unsupported instance, it won’t work. (Or an instance or a person who disabled quote.)
- If your instance doesn’t support it, then all will use the previous embed link as a quote flow.

So, I was about to review a PR to add GoToSocial support to @npub1cnh…wtw0, but I guess I won't do it then.
This is completely baffling to have such "code of conduct" at the age of AI.
I won't waste any second of my brain cycle, or my AI cycle, on their network.

People of Ice Cubes, are you using this component for quick access to pinned timelines? (At the bottom on iOS 26 and at the top on iOS 17+)

Ice Cubes 2.0 beta built for iOS 26 is now available for testing! It works from iOS 18.5 + (dropped iOS 17)
But this test's target is for iOS or iPadOS 26 users; feel free to download it and send feedback!
The goal of 2.0 is to refine the app, so expect many UI tweaks and feature streamlining over the summer.

Overall iOS 18 makes #SwiftUI a lot better. I need to document all the little annoying things that have been fixed. Ice Cubes has never been that fast and stable.

Yeah, it's baffling that they can't make a game like Diablo II. They try so hard with the 2.0 update to make it close, but they simply don't understand what makes Diablo II's progression great.
Sure, the gameplay is good, but the reward loop is super boring.

You know the recent Doom engine dreamed by an AI is a good case for the “we’re living in a simulation.”
