droidsound-e isn't even as good as auxio? I tried it for a bit and the first thing was that I needed to get an older version from the person recommending it to me because later versions just straight-up cannot load media from disk properly, utterly fucking insane. I think they tried to rework whatever system it uses for local loading (that it gave some horribly non-obvious name to), but completely failed.
Anyway it tries to play webm and stutters like shit and I couldn't be bothered stripping them out from my foan so I just gave up and went back to auxio, which does exactly what I want, all the time, except that the "previous track" behaviour option has the wrong default.

As I understand it, kirby has like a year's experience with this stuff or something, he learned most of it within a month or two, and had some really bizarre situations occur during it so he learned a LOT.
I'm not sure how much those situations were self-inflicted, but given his nature, I assume 100%.
But yeah, that sounds like something he would have come out with during that time (and I think I vaguely remember hearing him say something like that when he had uhhh... alterra.cloud or whatever it was up).

These days I recommend waydroid, it seems to have minimal overhead, but you basically have to install houdini (nvidia) or ndk (amd) to run arm stuff, such as... Most gachas lol, and both of those are ABSOLUTELY PROPRIETARY
Every other cross-arch emulator is using one or both of those anyway.

Well, it's two unrelated things. A domain *existing* is as simple as a record in a text file on some computer saying that this name exists. Usually, it also specifies an IP address for it (but see fedora.email's alt domains, like harpy.wivesfor.sale, for a whole bunch of examples without - they just have an MX record, which is all that's needed to use it for email).
Once a domain exists and points somewhere, you just need a program on that computer listening for people that want to talk to it, and that program can be one that checks the domain and determines what to do based on it. Or it can just ignore it and do the same for everyone.
