This is very difficult for younger people that have been educated in public education. They are NOT learning critical thinking skills. Emotions are an evolutionary process to keep us alive. So young people are more influenced by emotional arguments over logical arguements.
The point is this: RAISE your kids to think. Question EVERYTHING. We had our 5 kids read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. It's one of the best lessons in thinking you could give anyone. They are all killing.
My youngest gave me a cup last year, "Dad, No matter what life throws at you at least you don't have a liberal child"
That pretty much says it all. 4 engineers and 1 teacher turned property owner after only 1 year of teaching (could not handle the stupidity of the teachers/system).
Sadly for many, once you are an adult it's very difficult to learn to critically think. Not impossible, but very hard. So once your kids leave the house, if they don't know how to think critically they probably are lost for life in most cases.
We need school choice so bad it's insane. End Government education!

I started out with this one LONG before they could drive.
If you get rear ended, who's fault is it?
The right answer is: Mine.
(but it can take a year or more to have them internalize that answer - not just tell me what I wanted to hear)

Once you assume responsibility for your life you are on the right track to enjoy your life immensely.

This is not easy for most people. When we say/do something others have a perception of what we are saying through THEIR experiences.
MOST times how we view what we say/do are NOT the same view/perception others have of EXACTLY statement or action!
So we have to try to understand how all these millions of other people are viewing OUR personal views/actions.

You nailed it. But keep it simple. #Bitcoin is your energy/work STORED as energy/work by the system using math, so you can use your stored energy/work at ANY future time YOU want.

Do both. Too many are trying to short cut wealth.
Determine a time frame to be debt free and understand what it takes. As you have fewer debts, you will have more money to buy/save more #Bitcoin.
This is what happened to gold in Germany in the 1930s. Leveraged pretty much wiped everyone that tried it out UNLESS you have a business/job big enough to cover all margin calls.

Most transactions are through a bank. Because banks have to comply with KYC (Know Your Customer) they have access to all transactions with a search warrant for ALL accounts.
There are many stories of peoples accounts being frozen for 'suspicious' activity. I don't think this is the norm. BUT it can be done with the current system in place.
The IRS can take money from accounts, and garnish wages. BUT I think it's quite rare - maybe getting more so but still very rare.
The idea these systems are in place are beyond comprehension to me - why Bitcoin wins with me.

I'm sure this is well intended. But now you have to define 'productive farmland' - and an entire Government Agency will need to be created to define that and 'inspect' the grounds for viability.
As with most regulations - they all sound great. Fair. And righteous.
And down the road they are absused, and used by politicians to control people.
People that OWN their land should be able to do what they want with it. If growing crops is most productive for them, fine. If solar is more productive, that's fine too.
Government distorts everything making us LESS efficient. 99.9% of the time (so the benefits of this type of regulation are pretty much non-existent).

I don't disagree with you - I think all taxes should be eliminated.
We should pay for what we use. Technology today would allow for this system. For example, all roads would be toll roads. We pay when we drive on them and USE them. That's fair. It's not a tax then, it's a user fee.
If we want to 'socialize' something, let the local community or church raise the money. All state and federal taxes eventually ruin the economy.
Local taxes can ruin the economy too, but you can move to the city down the highway which forces responsiblity.

Government power decreases significantly w/o ability to create/print money.
People still have to THINK and push back.
But the reality is, ALL war was 'printed' - since the invention of clipping coins.
Welfare is a modern day (last several hundred years) human event. Nearly all humans can add value to other humans w/removal of the welfare state. This does not happen overnight, it can take generations of pain (created by generational welfare).
Also, hard money based on work/energy stored in time gives a LOT of power to the people. So while Government is being stripped of their power, the individual is gaining incredible power. This is happening now - but it's a slow process most don't see.
Furthermore, with real money, those that get rich have to on continue to produce REAL value for others/society or they will lose their power.
The Government 'powers' that promise to protect you from the elites with more taxes and rules/laws historically have 100% benefited - you guessed it - the rich/elites (not the poor). Yet the poor being uneducated and not willing to read fall for it generation after generation.
In the centrally controlled USA economy we have today (along with most of the world), the rich just get richer w/o much/any added value. The Elites understand history - they know how well this works.
This is all very complex. Start with the book, "The Sovereign Individual" which will/should lead you to another dozen books - be sure to read 10+ books on the topic so it really sets in.

Kodak has a strong interest in digital cameras, they invented them, and then abandon them.
BlockBuster had a strong interest in video - and the streaming business.
But - both went bankrupt. The 'establishment' rarely sees what's coming.

I have been fasting for 36-45 hours every week for over 3 years. I get into Autophagy in about 20 hours (I have learned to know when I'm in ketosis and then into Autophagy - after checking bloodwork many times). I'm 62 this year. Wife same age, fasting 3 years too. No problem. Muscle is fine but I'm also in good shape and work out nearly daily (but often not after my second day fasting). I would not go over 48 hours fasting based on the books I have read.
I'm not saying your body 'never' uses muscle to create amino acids during a fast. Your muscles are ALWAYS regenerating themselves so there is a constant replenishment of muscle. What I'm saying is you will not lose your muscles mass intermittent fasting or fasting for a day or two - largely due to the anti-catabolic effect of fasting (see below).
I also believe most of the data out there on amino acids are from companies selling amino acid compounds. Which is fine - I guess if you are a power lifter or your fat body mass is very low, you may need them? They are not going to hurt if you keep calories very low to get the benefits of fasting!
I think this is complicated and we are talking over each other and as the clip below shows, "It depends." Depends on your health, if you exercise, and getting to know your body.
And yes ketones are not a replacement for amino acids.

We have 5 kids. All had phones, no curfews (they set their own based on VALUES WE INSTILLED). Virtually no rules - they set their own - learned to THINK. Required to read book "Atlas Shrugged" as young as possible.
ALL straight A students. No drugs. No problems. Two oldest girls Chemical Engineers, 3rd girl Teacher for a year then business owner (owns 3 homes in her mid 20's), 4th kid -boy Materials Engineer, and last boy Electrical Engineer. All graduated with no debt and shit load of cash in bank when they graduated.
Government does NOT know what's best. BTW - all our kids had heavy exposure to Montessori (self teaching/learning and independent thought).
IGNORE the Government - do the opposite!

I wonder if Covid is/was the turning point for people waking up?
Covid was a scam from day 1. It was a set up at the perfect time for elections in USA. It was so clear. In Italy they showed body bag of people (early on) and when you looked at the Ministry of Health website deaths were NOT increasing (matter of fact flu/pneumonia deaths were being decreased as Covid was increasing). This turned out to be the case in most countries. US saw increases in deaths but it was 87% related to fat/metabolically unstable people.
The entire narrative was fabricated if you were watching what was really happening beneath the surface.
We just need more people that START with the thought "Question Everything" - because the information is out there.
Critical thinking is lacking - but it works really well!
NOT being critical of those that got the shot - it's SO HARD right now to know up/down, right/wrong when people are working their butts off chasing fiat/US$.
Start DCAing into #Bitcoin and in 5 years your entire mental state will change - and your lifestyle will too. Avoid crypto and ignore the FUD - but read LOTS of books on money to keep you firmly planted. This journey makes you a critical thinker. More related than it may seem.

Boomers pissed away their parents fortunes on SUV's and 4000 sq. ft. homes. They ran up social programs to the tune of a QUARTER TRILLION bucks. They ran $20 trillion of infrastructure into the ground (after a generation built it up before them). Created $35 trillion in public debt, with $2 trillion/year deficits.
Just ONE of the above is a travesty.

My opinion is the best marker to watch is the currency trade. Watch the Japan Yen to US$. Actually any G7 country currency to US$, but Japan holds about a trillion in treasury bonds - which will start to get sold at some point.
Third world currencies are already crashing and burning against #Bitcoin and the US$. The US$ being the Global Reserve Currency will likely be the safe haven (least dirty shirt in a basket of dirty shirts) for a while (until Western civilization wakes up and drives the price of Bitcoin and Gold 10X+). This assumes the US$ maintains it's dominance - which it likely will.

As asset prices sky rocket, large companies and asset owners in the USA get VERY rich. The working class gets robbed (wage earners).
A great book on this is called, "The Rise of Carry: The Dangerous Consequences of Volatility Suppression and the New Financial Order of Decaying Growth and Recurring Crisis" by Tim Lee. All the consequences, that are playing out exactly as expected, are explained. It's not an easy read, but it's readable.
When will it all end (and it will)? It's like telling a gambler they have to quit gambling. They keep going until they run out of everyone else's money (can't borrow anymore). No one knows but when it happens, it happens quick. The longer this goes, the bigger the crash (because the ONLY way to keep it going is to keep expanding the bubble).

Find local meat market/rancher, that carries grass fed grass finish beef. Along with pasture, raised animal protein.

#Bitcoin has no connections like this. Elites are smart in the system they thrive (fiat money printing, bias laws, corruption, regulation, etc...).
Trump is still an Elite - although he clearly (by actions) cut many off at the knees (why other Elites hate him). There are fractures in the pool of Elites right now - as they lose control more and more.
But the whole Q thing and Bitcoin is totally unconnected - other than the truth seeker type people probably find/research both. I wish there was someone coming to save everyone, but there is not.
Just as the Revolutionary War - the people will have to feel enough pain to fight back. And we are building an army within #Bitcoin that is world wide. The more people that truly exit the fiat system, less power the World "Officials" have over us and the more power we have. The real problem is these monsters gravitate to power because the productive people are just out there getting shit done. We tend to 'hope' the politicians do the right things - which is CLEARLY NOT THE CASE.

The tax code is so complicated, we are all made criminals at some point or another. It's ridiculous. If you are a tax paying citizen, you are an enemy of the state.
It's VERY likely Ver did something wrong - matter of fact it's almost guaranteed if they want to get you.
Furthermore, if you give up US Citizenship ALL your assets are taxed at what the Government considers 'fair market value' - which is ALWAYS subjective. So if you have $200K in income/capital gains, and $5 million in assets - you are taxed on BOTH. Basically the US Government seizes your assets as you leave. This should be illegal.

The body will create ketones from fat first - your body does not harvest protein until the very end (which makes sense if you think deep about it). Ketones are VERY good energy source for body/brain. Furthermore, fatty meats are better than lean meats because too much protein can actually raise insulin levels. This is contrary to common Government agency advance today!
I think the best research says if you are fasting, anything over 48-72 hours and you 'could' end up eating into muscle. The wide time span is different metabolism.
But the amino acids in protein (especially red/colored meat) are vital to life - and you can NOT get them all from plant diets (so much supplement). So you are 100% right on the protein consumption!

And yes, EVERY single CENTRAL authority/Government War as far back as history goes was funded by printed money (or clipped coins). There are no exceptions. As Government became more centralized and bigger, so did the wars!
To Jason's point, the winner often had the technology advantage. Think gunpowder (which is a fascinating history since the major power of the time REJECTED the technology).
On your thought about Jason not responding (even though the author did finally read the book), it's very hard to have a conversation with someone about physics if they have not studied physics. Nutrition is another example, it's SO stinkin' complex, it's hard to have ANY conversations! Simple definitely does not work.

I think this author is looking for a simple connection - and it's deeper than that.
#Bitcoin 'is' connected to everything else as a base layer of money/value/energy. This is the foundation of Jason's theory.
I don't disagree with the author that Jason leaves a lot of gaps uncovered. I believe that's the idea of a thesis?
In the second piece, after he reads the book, he makes some great points - again, Jason has not (and can't) close all the gaps.
The macrochip concept - energy grid as a macro computer - he makes the case they are all independent. He is correct, in the literal sense. But on a more macro sense, 'energy' is a global connected force. Energy is the foundation for all of life, civilization, and required for humans to evolve. It's also the base layer of WAR - which connects everything (sadly).
So I think this guy is deep in the details, but off the beaten path.
I would liken it to arguing with a flat earther. They may say something like, "Look out at the horizon - it's flat you idot! Why are you so stupid?"
Galileo Galilei proved the earth was not the center of the universe. But 'common knowledge' church goer at the time (the churches power actually) did NOT like his thesis - too many holes! And they threw him in prison - the average person believed for many decades the earth was the center of the universe! Galileo died confined!
So the debate goes on - I read nothing that would make me discard Jason's thesis. My perspective is mostly from the energy side. I'm an Electrical Engineer by education and worked in the electric utility industry for 40 years.

I see where you are going. We just have to disagree.
Jason's work at Space Force (I have read Softwar, twice - great read) has the picture of a deer antlers on the front cover of his thesis. This represents the idea that #Bitcoin is antlers for humans.
Interestingly, humans are the only species (other than monkeys) that kill their own for property/mating rights (you can add in their political power too - but that's just property rights).
Deer fight until the antlers break, and the buck that loses walks away - they don't kill. Even bears don't kill each other.
Jason is making the point that in order to have a war (killing others) you need a GAIN in resources or it makes no sense. Bitcoin make it more costly to go to war than to have kinetic war for property rights (gain). This basically makes kinetic war obsolete.
He deep dives into cell division, and many other aspects of life to make the point.
SO - when you mention 'bitcoin as a weapon' that's not actually accurate. It's a weapon of peace by making property rights indisputable - ELIMINATING the need for war/most other weapons.
It's not quite this simple, the book explores deep avenues. But that's the general idea.

Proof of work - no doubt.
Be sure you get enough protein, especially if you are working out. I did a similar 'proof of work' but cut out seed oils, wheat, and sugar. Mostly protein based with some veggies. Went from 270 to 170 without really dieting - I eat a lot! Many other health benefits showed up too.
Some of the best summarized research I have read lately is from Georgia Ede. Another good follow is Nina Teicholz, who is an investigative journalist turned health researcher. She's done some great work (second link is a talk done 10 years ago).

Stockman has written several books. He makes some great points but is off key on a lot of issues too. If you want to believe this article, be sure you follow up and read a few of his books so you can put things in perspective.
I'm coming across as defending Trump - I'm not. But contrary to popular belief, Trump had the right idea about many thing (border, regulation, taxes, etc...). I also believe he understands the problem with deficit spending, but if you are just turned off on Trump you can find clips, cherry pick, and make the case otherwise.
The problem with discussion about spending is you can't just look at spending, you have to look at spending, debt, deficits, and GDP growth at the same time to understand if/where/when there is a problem.
We are beyond the point if stimulating the economy with Government spending. Gov spending is crushing the private economy. But Gov spend has worked to simulate the economy in the past, the problem is Gov (BOTH parties) spend MORE after the economy is roaring (not less) and the entire Gov system gets bigger.
Biden is spending because that's all they can do to keep the shit show going - and he is the poster boy of the magnitude of the problem the last 50 years.
The reason BOTH parties don't like Trump? He's not in on the game AS MUCH as the insiders. No doubt Trump has worked the system to his advantage - you don't become a billionaire being system stupid.

We have 5 kids - never a curfue or 'rules' - we ALWAYS said, "You do what you think is best, and if you are not sure, be sure to ask (or you many lose your car if you mess up)!"
Absolutely - independence does not equal correctness, but you have to give people the ability to make mistakes (and if it's your kids is SO HARD).
Our youngest is 21 this year, oldest 2 girls are Chemical Engineers, then a teacher/business owner, then two boy Engineers (Materials and Electrical). So instilling this independent thought, and then shutting up when they made non-life threatening mistakes, was critical to their success.
Which is critical to all our success!
I guess we were on the same page to start! :-)

Government/Fed (don't be fooled, they are the same) KNOW they need to start printing money VERY soon.
When they do - #Bitcoin, Gold, Silver (and probably oil and most other commodities) will absolutely go crazy.
And if they don't start printing BEFORE the debt defaults start (research the Bond market) the amount they need to print will be obscene. They already need $20 trillion to save the system. It could be magnitude HIGHER if even a few trillion of that move to Bitcoin and Gold - and it will.

I think you are discussing a 51% attack - because the #Bitcoin network can't be taken down - there are probably over 20,000 Nodes running right now - all over the world.
IF there is a 51% attack - it will be very energy intensive, and the reality is we will know it's coming before it happens. This is not going to be a simple take down.
Furthermore - do you really see China and the USA/DOJ collaborating to take down Bitcoin? To what end? Then who wins? China or the USA? Why would they work together?

I also believe the ETF will raise awareness of Self Custody. Time will tell, but I have already had conversations with people, "Why would you self custody when you can just buy the ETF?"
That conversation nearly always leads to 'entertaining' self custody.
Self Custody is VERY HARD for the average person to understand. Most see money in a bank as theirs - available anytime. They do NOT even know the US Government confiscated Gold in 1933.

Can you use VPN (which allows you to use ANY app to on-ramp to #Bitcoin)?
If the answers to those questions are; No. Yes. - and they are - then they can continue to fight 'us' or they can join us.

Unless people are willing to read a book on #Bitcoin it's unlikely they will get it. It's too new at this point. If they are in financial industry - they definitely won't get it!

She even finishes my sentences now.

In order to 'discover' #Bitcoin, you have to learn and read, right?
So does it change us, or do we become educated?
Those that WON'T learn/read (go down the rabbit hole) never see it.
BUT, another thought. Bitcoin is brutally honest. No cheating. After reading, I think over 100 books now, the fiat system builds you to cheat, gamble, and steal. Think about that for a bit.
Not that we naturally want to do these things, we know they are wrong, but think about the times you get a super good deal on something - almost like stealing - and you have that nagging feeling that you are ripping someone off. Or, you win a few bucks in a lottery or at a raffle - it's exciting getting something for nothing but why does it not last?
Bitcoin makes you want to GIVE, not receive. So from that respect maybe it does change your psychology. But the learning process is so important.
Not to drivel on here, but Bitcoin is a new base layer of culture, changing the way we interact. So it's going to make us feel different. I think better. And I'm falling for the "Softwar" narrative more and more (Jason Lowrey's books - Softwar). Human antlers. I think his thesis is correct.

Exactly. This has been my problem with the Climate change movement.
NONE of these 'activist' have a solution. Quit using energy is not the solution. Shutting down efficient plants in the West, and sending the production to China (coal) is also not the solution (however good it makes us all feel!).
Actually cutting energy would INCREASE pollution, not decrease it. The most advanced countries have the LEAST pollution per human. Why? Technology solves problems.
So if you are a climate activist, go to school and get a Chemical Engineering degree. UNDERSTAND the problem, and then work on solutions!
With that said, the more you understand about the climate, and the geology of the earth, you realize there is no crisis that we can exactly identify to fix!
If you put ALL the earths resources in an olympic size swimming pool, ALL of humanity has used the equivalent of 1 cup of water!

Understanding of money in general is breathtaking realization (most never see).
Reading TONS of economics and money books (not just Bitcoin). But the history of money, how the Federal Reserve was formed, who formed it, and why.
I'm 61 and planning for the next 20 years. I retired early - fiat was good for us mostly, but I lost a LOT of money in 2008 and 2020 and realized the system was not as it appeared (started buying Bitcoin in 2016, steady daily in 2017).
VALUE - best of the best. We should all strive to be better, add more, do more for others. Bitcoin makes you think/plan as it gives you faith that your energy is stored until you need it OR it will be passed on to your kids without Charlatan Lawyers scamming the current financial system to their benefit.
With 5 kids, all are whole coiners + and instilling that long term vision in kids is very hard - but ultra rewarding. I had a head start, I required them all to read Atlas Strugged when they were young - so they are all very independent and good thinkers.
Question Everything - maybe the biggest #Bitcoin lesson of all.
Time is your best friend (learning) or your worst enemy (watching TV wasting your life). Once time passes it's gone forever - Bitcoin preserves productive moments - forever. Hope for the future.
