The Fediverse seems to be a place where cowardice reigns supreme and all bad faith actors need to do is show up in numbers. Or, in the case of one particularly bad person, having 50 accounts.
If the Fediverse reflected life — and I'm thankful it does not...
We'd still wrongfully have slavery, LGBTQ+ people would still be hiding in the dark for their lives, and women would still wrongfully be property.
You have to stand against the bully and injustice!

If administrators being cowards weren't troublesome enough, I noticed a few people who either agreed with me or, if they didn't, at the very least raised some harmless concerns. For their efforts they were targeted, attacked, and bullied, and so I thought to show some support, but it turns out they're also cowards and would rather fade into the background.

I'm going to resent the Fediverse out of the sheer number of cowards who allow injustice due to peer pressure.
So, I've got all these administrators who privately said they agree with my evidence, but they don't want to deal with the drama. It's too politically charged, and while I'm right, and they agree with the evidence, they'd rather turn a blind eye than deal with the associated backlash.

You're heard of Fedi Block, but I'd like to introduce Fedi Follow.
You should follow:
@npub1qjr…aj0p
@npub1fh7…ee83
@npub1ly9…ktws
@npub17v6…wdv9
[@chris_evelyn](https://fedi.chris-evelyn.de/@chris_evelyn )
These people have done nothing wrong.
Yet they have been attacked by Gaza Verified. They didn't pick my side, they didn't pick their side, they simply stated the facts as they saw them or believed them to be, or chose to remain neutral, and that wasn't good enough for the scam group that insists everyone bend the knee.

Do you know how many cowards run Mastodon sites?
Look at the screenshots.
Every last person admitted I was right.
This isn't even all of them, see post 2.

The dumbest statement shared all week on Meta (Facebook) by thousands of people is that — and I quote:
> "The Odyssey movie is bad because it is not historically accurate."
Let that thought sink in. Really let it sink in. Give it a moment.
Because, DUH! Of course a mythical story concerning magical beings is not going to be historically accurate. There is nothing factual to begin with.

Mitch McConnell finally proved he is alive, but he is really trying to downplay his medical scare.
The official release is that he only had a mild fall and a touch of pneumonia.
I'm sure they want you to forget the news report concerning him needing CPR. I am also sure they're hoping you don't notice that the medical bed he is in is in the upright position helping him sit up for the photo.
Typical Mitch McConnell narrative control.

I've been using Vivaldi browser so this was news to me. lol

Mozilla Firefox is still here.
In May 2026, Firefox's market share sat at a dismal 2.19%. On the verge of plunging below 2%, it had essentially become a niche browser, no longer a mainstream browser.
Then Google, in their infinite foolishness and under the guise of better privacy, broke countless browser extensions — particularly ad blockers.
By June 2026, Firefox's market share rebounded to 3.33%. It’s not a massive victory, but it’s enough to still qualify as mainstream.

RE: https://planet.moe/@Linux/116873388616056929
The last time I had matching download and upload speeds was when I was a dial-up customer.
Think about that.
It took decades for me to finally have matching speeds again, thanks to fiber-optic internet, because all of our broadband providers who offered DSL and Cable Internet convinced everyone it was normal to have limited access with poor uploads and sometimes even data caps.
I just hope in the future fiber-optic internet doesn't one day decide to repeat history.

2.5 Gbps download / 2.5 Gbps upload
Yes, you do notice that difference and having the matching speeds for both is wonderful.

Better, but would recommend you commit to the upgrade path.
Mastodon 4.6.0 – Current release. ✅️
Mastodon 4.5.x – Legacy release. ⚠️
Mastodon 4.4.x – Entering the retirement phase, with a recommendation to upgrade to 4.5.x or newer. ❗️
Mastodon 4.3.x and older – End of life, discontinued, and no longer supported. 🚨
Mastodon is moving to 5.0 by the end of the year. They're already on 4.7 nightly. Once 5.0 drops, development should return to a stable, predictable release cycle.

RE: https://planet.moe/@Linux/116845524477275236
The smart move is always to buy an AC greater than your needs.
For example, if your goal was to cool a single room with the door closed, and the room was 5,000 square feet, buy an AC that can cool 8,000 square feet.
The AC is not going to power on as often because it is designed for a room twice the size. It's going to cool that room in minutes, and when it turns on as needed, it will only power on in short bursts. Your AC will last longer and use less power overall.

The secret to keeping your place cool is that at night, no matter how cool it gets, keep your AC on Cool with the fan on Low. You want that low speed so the air passing through gets truly cool. Then, during the day, set the AC to Auto/Low/Eco, and it will turn on only when needed.
The added bonus is if you have a fan that can tilt upward, place it by the AC, tilt it toward the ceiling (about 60 degrees) in the direction of the rest of the house, and set it on Low. This will circulate the air.

Normally, every day I pull up the window shades to let light into the house and close them at sunset.
Today, I think I'll keep the shades closed and sit in the darkened room since I managed to get my house cool.

Today, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, they have updated the heat index to a possible 115F / 46.11C. 🥵
Worse still, they have also issued a poor air quality warning advising everyone to limit their exposure to the air outside or remain in doors.

🔥 🔥 This is "fine". 🔥 🔥
I joke, but 112F / 44.44C is not something you generally want to experience.
I may have looked silly finishing mowing my lawn around 8:30 PM last night, but it was the smart thing to do. 😅

On September 28, 2023, someone else joined the Fediverse (@npub19vu…g5yh). Because they like foxes, they also use the same avatar, but they are not me. No single user owns the rights to the avatar, as it is based on the old public fox emoji (originally from Twemoji 2.3).
However, we have occasionally been mistaken for the same person, particularly since I have moved my account a couple of times. But it should be known, we're two different people, and not the same person.

No Pixel 12 — no care. 😂
I do not plan on retiring my Google 7 until at least Google Pixel 12 (5 years/generations from purchase). By then I will have a better practical understanding of how locked down Android has become and can decide if I will stick with Android or consider a true alternative — a Linux phone.

Donald Trump's MAGA proved something:
Change is possible.
True, their version of change absolutely SUCKS and benefits only a few wealthy racists and pedophiles, but they still got things to change.
New York's mayor, Zohran Mamdani, a democratic socialist, also proves that yes, we can implement real, meaningful change without buying into the false excuse that we must compromise both change and accountability for unity.
Progressive progress is indeed possible. Remember this when you vote!
