I wish #Damus had a translate option. It would open up the world to each other. I’m seeing tons of Japanese, French, and Hebrew posts I would love to understand real time.

I rather everything be transparent on a mass scale. However, When dealing with things like addresses, private information, and sometimes even full names to avoid doxing it makes sense.

Do you think the level of privacy #Monero provides can also be its downfall? Total anonymity sounds great, but it can be used for illegal activity. Also the size of the transaction is much larger because of the privacy it provides.

Currently xi’an is expected in 2024, but honestly who knows. Given the issues in the Babylon release, faith in the team is questionable.
Radix attempts to use dPOS, which will only result in decentralization if users choose to stake across multiple validators. So it’s still left to be seen how it will work out.
Great tech - but has its own set of issues like the rest of them.

Never heard of eCash, will need to look into it.

Anyone know any reason why #radix can’t blow out all other L1 and defi solutions?
So far their team accomplishing their goals is the only deterrent to me. Tech is solid with its 1 million TPS and cheap fees. It can scale better than any other solution.

Ran a quick experiment on generating notes engagement:
1. I had chatgpt create a note for me and created another myself. Received no feedback.
2. The note I created myself received more interaction then chatgpt on its own.
3. The hybrid note using chat gpt and my alteration creating discussion and receiving the most interaction.
AI is not at the point of replacing human discussion, nor would I want it too.
