so if you have #wireguard #vpn enabled, #ipfs makes #udp connections through it. im not quite sure how this stack goes. i think something like this:
iptable block udp connections, except allow for vps
now ipfs makes udp connection through vpn i guess
but when its ran with
torify ipfs daemon
i think it passes tor with udp connections, goes through vpn, and reveals vpn ip. but since the idea is to route ipfs through #tor, not revealing vpn ip, we should probably disable vpn in this case.
so its bit complicated if you need to use vpn for other applications, but only tor for ipfs. same ofc applies to bittorrent and all else.
maybe need to make some vpn specific configs?

still someone could send complaint about single url containing the decryption hash, in which case they would probably need to delete that content, so it only protects server, but does not guarantee content persistence

what mega.nz does is quite cleaver
when provided url where the decryption key is after hash url.tld#decryptionkey, the server can store files encrypted and neither need to store decryption key. this hash will not be in any server logs either.
so in case feds go to mega.nz server room, they only find encrypted files, no proof of anything. they would need to find the decryption keys all over the internet to decrypt the files.

#handshake is a #protocol to replace #tld, but does not offer protocol for handling actual #domain name registrations. eg with handshake you could register tld .handshake and therefore be responsible for registering all domains using .handshake tld, like mydomain.handshake. there is slight problem though. this will keep registering actual domains #centralized to the owner of tld.
meanwhile #namecoin only uses single tld .bit, in which actual domain names like mydomain.bit can be registered into a #blockchain, therefore the registering of domains that point to ip/content addresses is #decentralized

llm running on your browser to do image filtering? what would be the lightest model to be able to do reasonable filtering? eg. detect if picture has nudity, do that check in 20 ms with gpu over web technologies. maybe we are not quite there yet.
ps. content filtering flag is useless as its up to publisher. you cannot force anything up to publisher. publisher can do whatever she/he wants.
and reporting? nah.
but do you need filtering? also good question. just came to my mind as seemd like 50 % of feed was porn. maybe if 95 % of feed is porn you want filtering? :D
also spam? what is spam? i guess relays now decide that? llm to run locally and detect spam? although spam is also related to network traffic. well, maybe just proof of work notes? discard zero pow notes? idk even if any client does pow notes now? if client publishes note in second there is not much pow done i guess.

note for #devs and #cli users:
if you are using #commandline tools like https://github.com/0xtrr/nostr-tool #nostr-tool, instead of using text-note, you should use custom-event and add tags to make note searchable. relays don't really find notes without tag definitions. using #hashtags inside content is not enough even with #nip-50 search.
also there is bug in nostr-tool which makes tags wrong. here is pull request for it https://github.com/0xtrr/nostr-tool/pull/55
