What are the frigging odds: my hold on Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, which I put on hold just after it was released last May, finally came in today.
We leave on Tuesday to go on a trip and don't get back until April 13, so I could not actually really play it if I picked up my hold. I had to cancel and get back at the end of the line of 338 people.

In Ottawa, I participate in Foster Family Farm's CSA. We get a weekly half share, which gives us a big box of weekly produce and eggs every second week, working out to about $36 a box/week for 16 weeks.
We didn't need to buy eggs or much in the way of fruits and vegetables during our entire CSA season, which ran from early July to mid-October. https://www.fosterfamilyfarm.ca/csa/

Hey this is a really good time to sign up for a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA, also often known as farm share) box for this produce season so you can support local farms in this time of uncertainty.
It seems like an expensive outlay, since you pay it all at once before the season starts, but it often works out to a super good deal on produce, given grocery store prices these days.

My one major complaint about the intersection is that going northbound, you come along the right side of the path, and then to press the button to get the light, you have to cross across the whole bike path to the left side of the path, with the button in a totally unintuitive spot.
I know it's set up like that for access to the Gladstone O-Train station, but a lot of people aren't going that way.

I went by a couple of times yesterday and that button is actually the pedestrian button to cross along Gladstone, there due to silly HTA rules. Bikes change it by stupid yellow dots, of course. I mind them less on bike routes than on roads.
The light does seem to change super quickly. The second time i went by I pressed the button and the countdown immediately went to five (FIVE) seconds and then I got the cross light. WHAT??? I am amazed.

It's great that they've finished putting in the light to cross Gladstone on the O-Train path, which was finally turned on last night.
My one disgruntlement about it is that usually it takes me (and I've been timing it) a few seconds to be able to cross Gladstone and knowing this car humping city I figured they would time the lights to make people wait like 45 seconds to a minute to cross.
However, I was pleased yesterday when I pressed the button and it took only 15 seconds.

Ugh that's disgusting.
They are definitely talking about Reddit in particular. I heard about my org's executives having a session where they were encouraged to look at it to get an idea of people's perspectives.

Also in that CBC article there were zero reasons given for public servants to return to the office other than "you can think together real good and maybe get promoted if you kiss up enough" - they honestly have fewer than zero ideas. What a joke.

Oy that CBC article on public servants returning to the office because it'll give them opportunities to learn together and also for advancement is basically saying the quiet part out loud that those who cannot do that for disability reasons or who work in remote offices will be overlooked for promotions because they aren't able to be glad-handing in the office just because people can't (/won't) bother learning how to effectively use digital tools to build teams.
