In this case this mist not be the worst thing. Most important is that they stack sats. So they will have the experience.
Maybe you can encourage them to take just a small portion of their portfolio as casino money to play with but not to go to far.
So you at least controll how hard they burn.
And it must not be the worst to play casino with shitcoins as long as they put their eins into sats.

If you listened to #memewars by @npub1der…xzpc you could for sure come to the conclusion that it is our fault. If we understand Bitcoin also as a Community, we as parts of it define how open this community really is. And to be honest, Bitcoiners are quite far away from normies. So it is natural that we're not atracting normies to go down the rabbit hole. Herding here at the nostr doesnt make it better (but is fun for us)
But i understand what you mean. Yes you can't save a child from experiencing burning it's hand. You can just try to help not burning that hard.
It is the same with your friends. I unfortunately came to Bitcoin through shitcoins.

I don't neccesary need a picture.

You're right. #plebstr did not get updates lately and @npub1gp4…dqyq is still early stage (but cool)
Yes i've been blocked by a person cause i participated in #zapvertizing and cannot reach this guy to clarify cause he blocked. Yes this sucks.
But NO People will not necesaryli stick to theese two if they realize that their feed is lame.
I onced realized that iris is giving me just the half of the content i had on plebstr and never came back to it. i changed from plebstr to amethyst cause it was to slow. I will swich from amethyst to yana possibly if they add some things cause they are more stable and fast.
In 12 month this will be another place.
And for sure,
we have a client for food recepies
Why not for adult content?
I already have three clients installed.
I would also say we need an own client for children too.

He can only censor #amethyst and forward to all that want to know. Like other clients already tried to have algos in the past.
Guess the best solution would be an own client for adult content designd by somebody that knows the rules in this field.
Keep in mind that nostr is under heavy development.

It is still not really transparent how the #ETF guys will host their so called physical #Bitcoin
I guess they will use the old trick of just borrowing them from all the guys having it on the exchanges and not havinv red their contract.
It is the same as with stocks. Your broaker is allowed to lend your stocks to a third party.

So far I dislike all of them because i don't really understand their advantage. They add just two more parties you have to trust where things can go corrupt. Would only considsr if i would do payments onchain. But this is what we don't want to. we have Lightning for it.
So short term we will need a lightning hardware solution.
