Today I was running inside windows XP.
After a long celebration last night of my little sister’s birthday excessive wine might have been consumed (she turned 47, but she will always be the little one 😃)
Excessive wine => HRV tanked
Postponed HM06 for tomorrow.
It was the first day of sun after many weeks of rain.
The wind, however, was atrocious, and, of course, blowing against as I climbed -as per the 2nd law of running - no matter what heading, the wind always blows against you.

There’s so much water on the mountain…
Don’t be fooled by the camera angle, the shot is almost close to the top with an ascent grade close to 20%.
The sound of the water coming down all the time was super soothing.
My HR was a little higher than I wanted but I felt super strong today. I was borderline aerobic

I guess I will have to slow down. My HRV collapsed and I have not been able to get it back on track. I have had long working days and some very short sleep nights. I have not reduced my running significantly but I will slow down and run shorter.
My Hill Score, VO2Max and Endurance Scores are at my peak and have remained unchanged during this period which is puzzling. My HR drifts more than it used to. It’s fatigue…

today I got “lost” during a shortcut I entered a chaotic dense area of fallen trees and kept going deeper and deeper to the point where it was just as hard to go back as to move forward. 55 minutes climbing trees, and branches. At a given point I had no idea how to get out of there. I have probably 100 scars on my legs today

I would love to have one of these drones to try them out. I am sure it might become a burden of repetitive after a while. But it looks amazing and I would be thrilled to document some of the running and mountain biking trails.
