The problem is just as bad for Bitcoin. As we argue about trivial things, powerful discretely centralized lobbies continue push law makers towards a stablecoin cdbc future.
Decentralized coordination would flip the tables.
Not only would centralized openents lose the advantage of coordination, they would also have to pay the cost of limiting the decision making brain power to a core few.
That's why I want to popularize futarchy, imo it's our best hope for decentralized coordination.

Decentralized projects, like nostr, are at a disadvantage compared to centralized platforms when it comes to coordination. X can put all of its resources towards some new feature and guarantee that all its users will participate in the network effects while on nostr, amazing ideas are being explored but most are only available in or or two clients.
What if there was a primitive that enables decentralized coordination?
