Absolutely. And Web 3 wasn’t making any sense to me till today, as I use this! The feeling is of being in control, absolute control where no “authority” can sit over us and decide what is “good” or “bad” for us!

Problem with that approach is it’s a zero sum game! Even democracy is not perfect. It’s the better of the bad systems we have, that’s about it. A POTUS is a human just like us, searching for a Jesus ain’t going to work.

Yes, Bitcoin means different things to different people. It also plays different roles depending on how you use it. This guy Satoshi or whoever that is, definitely deserves a Nobel Price! BTC was the biggest innovation of this century!

Imagine the implications of this! A guy sitting in sub Saharan africa will have the same buying power as a CEO in Manhattan! We have never had such an equaliser ever! You could sit anywhere and grow rich - All you need is the business acumen and a great product or service to sell to this world!

But I still don’t understand the implications to nation states. We humans are territorial. If entire nations cannot fund themselves with their own money, we are talking literal collapse of nations and their society in the long run.
