Well done, these comparisons were obvious to me from the start and I wondered why are there no books presenting Bitcoin in the context of ancient texts. I felt that especially while reading Tao Te Ching. I could so easily swap the word “Tao” for “Bitcoin” in some passages.
So this book looks very promising. Good chapter on religion, that subject could probably be it’s own book.
I wanted to say great book cover as well but upon closer inspection I suspect AI. :)

I love this moment of transition, the meeting point of the mundane and the magical Otherness. Not so much into the glittery sparkly magical things, instead, I’m drawn to the serious otherness, the kind that offers a deeper truth. Something that changes you and stays with you once you have left Narnia and came back from the Mount Doom. Because the truth is there is no coming back.

I’m updating my children’s illustration website and I tweaked this illustration because I still love it and want to keep it in there. Amazing how much a few brush pen strokes can bring an image together.

Don’t think I agree. This is supposed to be closer to a real community, a real interaction. I would like it to feel like walking into a real room with real people. And “seeing “ the room helps me personally to get that feeling.
This might change in the future for me, and I’m open to that.

I started my Nostr journey on primal which is criticised for many things but one of the things it does right is displaying the number of followers. Moving away from the primal I’m now getting used to yakihonne and it also displays the followers. So I guess I have it easier in that regard, I know that amethyst and damus are practically a roulette, you never know what you’re gonna see.

Yes! Very strange. I had lots of help setting this up so I’m waiting for help to become available again to see if this can be fixed. It’s great to get the zaps but I want to see who are they coming from, how Nostr is reacting to what I post. That’s an important aspect of being part of a community after all.
