I'm really excited to introduce the second generation SLP token indexer!
The major upgrade is to split block and transaction indexing into separate threads. This allows the indexer to continue processing real-time transactions when big blocks get mined on BCH.
Previously, these big blocks would interfere with the ability for the indexer to maintain real-time updates in that situation, and it would lead to a brief period of poor UX.
This documentation includes two short YouTube videos showing how to download a pre-synced database and quickly setup your own SLP token indexer if you're already running a BCHN full node.

How I see AI effecting the Software Developer profession:
I see the changes in my role as a professional software developer to be related to where the focus is placed within the job. The time I used to spend writing code, has now shifted into putting together clear, concise prompts.
I spend a lot of time gathering reference material and putting that in a directory that the AI can access. Then I spend time writing and proof reading a long prompt tying together in all the resources and scope. I work with the AI to convert that into an elaborate specification document with todo items. Finally I set the swarm of AI on the todo list.
So my time has shifted from writing code to more architectural documentation. It still relies on my years of experience. That was valuable then and probably more valuable now.
So I don't really see that anything professionally is changing much of all. Just the emphasis within the profession is changing.

I've been working on improving a JavaScript CLI app for sending end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) messages to any Bitcoin Cash address. The encrypted message is stored on a Nostr relay until it can be downloaded and decrypted by the recipient.
The newest feature allows you to attach JSON data to the message.

Finally got my gun collection organized, out of the way, and easy to access.
Bullets are stored in a different building.
My .22 is the easiest to access (at the bottom), as I need to quickly grab it and use it several times a year when raccoons break into my property and cause rucus.

Here's an example of my main interest in tokens/NFTs. I'm producing videos and embedding metadata about them in the token. This produces a couple beneficial effects:
1. Because the token is on the Blockchain, and it links to an IPFS hash, everything about it is immutable and highly censorship resistant.
2. Because the web app triggers off the Group token, it will automatically detect new NFT videos as I create them, and display them. I don't need to update the web app when I publish new content.
3. I can sell the token to 'true fans' who want to financially support me. This allows me to send e2e encrypted messages to those fans, and to air drop them other tokens or BCH as presents.
4. Because the videos are published to many platforms, and the token points to them (rather than the other way around), there is no effective way to deplatform me as a content producer.

I'm creating a series of tutorial videos called 'Mastering Bitcoin Cash'. I'm linking to all the video platforms within an NFT for each video. This web app tracks those NFTs and will automatically update when I create a new one. Two are posted now.

There is no effective way to censor them, or any effective way to deplatform me as a content creator. This is one reason I regularly backup my dependencies (node_modules folder), along with my code. Dependencies change over time, even if you don't touch package json.
I want to make sure I can get the old dependency code without relying on a third party, so that I can fork my own version. I don't want to, but I want the option if I have to.

Thanks to Telegram, I've been able to view propaganda and reports from both sides of the war in Ukraine. I doubt there has ever been a war with so much information available from both sides.
I hope that Nostr can eclipse the ease of sharing information in future conflicts. Understanding both sides is critical. There are no good guys and bad guys. Just interests, propaganda, States, and individuals.

Your thoughts echo my own experience. My ex-wife and I were together constantly for years and it was suffocating. My girlfriend of 3 years and i live apart, own our own homes, have our own social circles. But when we are together, we are our best selves. We uplift and support one another.
I'm also an introvert, and work alone. But I own five acres, so there is always something to do on the property. That replaces a lot of need to socialize for me. I love my lifestyle. Something for you to consider, if you like gardening, homesteading, etc.
