Had 3 different mechanics review my car for front wobble at high speeds and claude llm eventually ended up diagnosing high likelihood of front drive shafts causing this - replaced both and the car is smooth as butter now.
The issue is a combination of mechanics laziness, frugality and no ability to real life benchmark (there's nowhere to push 100km/h in my town to test the wobble) but also shows how theoretical diagnosis can beat experience even with free LLMs.

No matter how hard I down-vote the propaganda comments somehow they are served higher than comments with 20x the upvotes/engagement for days now since Trump started the beef with Zelenskyy.

I listen to Hacked¹ for security news and Real Python² for ocassional #python coverage. For pop tech I listen to Vergecast³ and Decoder⁴ which are brilliant in their own right.

My daily experience with #chatgpt has been really degrading lately. Lots of inaccuracy, latest updates made it much more verbose but not in a good way.
Yesterday I gave it two popular audio products and asked whats the best method to connect them and it "browsed online" just to come up with objectively wrong answers.
Not to mention the app is becoming extremely unstable, I constantly need to relogin or lose connection to some cryptic errors.
Trying out #perplexityai and #gemini today.

Detecting LLM is impossible in practice without a built in fingerprint as it can adapt and change writing style on given instructions. Sure you can have a guess based on the default writing styles but that's would only get you as far as to catch idiots. Sometimes.
It's all grifting and I can't believe people give legitimacy for these "ai checker tools" 🫠

Got #gnome setup this weekend. Giving it #Forge a shot which is a new, simple tilling window manager:

I've tried material-shell before but it didn't work well for me for whatever reason and Forge while more simple feels more stable.
For further customization I used #wmctrl which allows more scripting options and for drop down terminal I used #trdrop. For system control I can't get away from brilliant #rofi and it's ecosystem (#rofimoji, #greenclip).
